25.01.2022 Day 2 of our long weekend didn't quite go as we planned. We stopped into the Narrabri VIC to grab some maps and info, and then decided to do our loop to Moree and back around to Burren Junction - little did we know we'd thrown the hat out the window ready. The drive to Moree was very green with lots of water about. It's probably been a good 5 years since we were last in Moree and you can definitely notice the development and the inland rail commencing. We then decided to che...ck out Tareelaroi Weir. Except the marker was on the wrong side of the river so we took a country drive loop through Pallamallawa and then finally to the weir it was a lovely spot for some lunch, and a few of the local lads were setting the boat up for an afternoon of skiing. From here we headed for Burren Junction for a relaxing afternoon artesian bore swim. The GPS decided the take a "short cut" down the black soil not quite dry, dry weather only road - it was not shorter nor was it quicker but it certainly was muddier . We then arrive at Burren Junction only to discover they are closed until 01/03/2021 .. so back to Narrabri then we had a lovely dinner on our new weber watched the sunset then retreated to the air con to watch the cricket. 21.01.2022 Took a 5 day weekend and headed to Narrabri. Stopped at the fabulous Liverpool Plains VIC and got the directions to the . Had a bite to eat at the . Stopped for silo Art in Gunnedah, before setting up camp at Narrabri. Unfortunately some idiots started a grass at the back of us, so we called the and probably interrupted their dinner, poor buggers. Watched sunset, then had a quick but late dinner before a cuppa and heading inside for the night.

20.01.2022 Lest we forget.

19.01.2022 Jesse's Glamping Shakedown Trip - Day 3. Big of a quiet day really We left Bingara and headed for Glen Innes. First stop of the day was Myall Creek massacre memorial - a beautiful memorial and we'll worth stopping for. We set up camp at the Glen Innes showground before going off to explore around town including the standing stones and once again chasing the edge of the storm at the lookout before heading back to camp for a lovely baked dinner after we watched the kids test out their jumping skills at what looked like a horse camp.

12.01.2022 Jesse's Glamping Shakedown Trip - Day 4. We left Glen Innes headed for our New Years Eve venue - Club Hotel Emmaville - which also meant catching up with a dear friend even if she was working hard all night. After setting up at the carvan park, we headed out to the Ottery arsenic mine, climbed Thunderbolts lookout for spectacular views, before returning to Emmaville for a quick afternoon catch up, then it was off to get glammed up for our big night out. We made it to midnight and left the party hard country folk to party on for a few more hours.

10.01.2022 I'm sorry where are we again! In the middle of the outback in the vast arid expanse of north western NSW? No way. Umm yes way. How lucky were we to get to see this country look like this - absolutely stunning. Follow along on the blog to see what else we got up to on our trip out in #cornercountry https://www.seekingnature.com.au//cate/Cameron+Corner+2020 #sturtnationalpark #tibooburra #outbacknsw

05.01.2022 Jesse's Glamping Shakedown Trip - Day 5. Feeling pretty decent after our big night on the town we packed up and headed up to the lookout, before hitching up and heading off the pub to say bye to Sam. The boys were putting the Emmaville Panther up on the roof with a few sore heads watching on . We headed off up the road to Deepwater on the recommendation of our mates over at Titan Trackers for lunch at the Longhorn Bar, Deepwater Inn, and we were not disappointed! From Deepwater we made the loop back to Glen Innes and down to Walcha where we decided to do a small detour to Apsley Falls, before pulling up stumps at Bendemeer Campground next to the Showground.
