11.01.2022 It has been a real adventure out here in Bourke. Some children have never seen rain with the area in drought for more than three years. Little did we know even light rain renders the roads impassable to standard vehicles by turning the bone dry surface to mud and silt. And so it came to pass that Bourke's first rental car in 12 years ended up bogged. Thanks to our fellow travellers who attempted our first rescue, Cobar Towing for getting us back on the road and Ron O'Brien and Matthew Kline at Air Link for being understanding about the car. The beauty and character of this part of regional NSW is breathtaking and we can't wait to bring you more of the story about the work we have been doing here with The Maranguka Initiative. #adventure #australia #heartland #gratitude #bourke #maranguka #regionalnsw @ Bourke, New South Wales, Australia

07.01.2022 Kristi Mansfield and Adam Peaston have just driven off in the very first rental car to be hired in Bourke in 12 years! While out in Bourke to work with the wonderful Maranguka team on the Just Reinvest NSW initiative, Seer's Co-founders were also able to contribute to local economic development and tourism and restart an essential local service. After taking a beautiful scenic flight from Dubbo using the recently reestablished air service provided by Air Link, the car was ...ready and waiting after being organised by Air Link's General Manager Ron O'Brien. Bourke is waiting with open arms to welcome new visitors, come and experience Bourke along with some heartwarming hospitality from Ron and other locals. Call Ron on 02 6884 2435 if you're coming to Bourke and need a car. Thank you Ron, you are a local legend and a valuable community advocate, we're all coming out just to meet you! #Bourke #NSW #TravelAustralia #SupportLocal #AirLink #Travel #Tourism #Community
