25.01.2022 I'm lost in the light I pray for the night To take me, to take me to - Bahamas Lost in the light and flow for sunrise this morning
18.01.2022 It's a world of hopes, And a world of fears There's so much that we share, That it's time we're aware It's a small world after all - Sherman & Sherman Flying my drone this morning above Albert Park Lake. What a fantastic view.... Messing around with a editing technique called Tiny Planet. First time I have attempted this and it looks great IMO.
17.01.2022 Many rivers to cross But I can't seem to find my way over - Jimmy Cliff After all the rain a couple of weeks ago I finally had a chance to visit this waterfall hidden in the Otways. There is no official path, no car park and no wooden platforms to view it from. You have to find the start of a bush track on the side of a narrow gravel road by a marking on a tree. So I read up, asked questions of those who had been and armed with this information set out to find it. As you can see I was successful and I picked the perfect day. Rain, mud and lots of leeches but all worth while
14.01.2022 Let's go swim tonight, darling And once outside the undertow Just you and me, and nothing more - Pearl Jam I’ve been experimenting with ND filters on my drone so I can slow the shutter speed down. This means the drone and camera must be perfectly still! These drones are amazing...no movement or shack for this 2 second shot ... Taken above Point Roadknight
12.01.2022 Happiness more or less It's just a change in me, something in my liberty - The Verve I’ve been reflecting on how my life has changed since I began this photographic journey. I’ve been trying to pinpoint why it makes me happy. Yes the final images put a smile on my face but I think it’s the adventure, the search and the discovery of new places that really excites me. I’ve travelled to the most amazing places, places I probably wouldn’t have noticed previously. Like this amazing location in New Zealand. Moeraki Boulders on on the east coast of the South Island. These huge sphere boulders are scattered on the beach and were formed 60 million years ago. Yes it’s definitely the adventure that keeps me looking for the next location
09.01.2022 When some cold tomorrow finds you When some sad old dream reminds you How the endless road unwinds you While you see a chance take it - Steve Winwood ... Deep in the Otways behind Apollo Bay you’ll find Mariners Falls. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen
05.01.2022 I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way - Jimmy Cliff Stevensons Falls in the Otways is a wonderful waterfall but very difficult to photograph because of the 2 large boulders sitting in the water on the front right hand side...they are in the way!... I had an idea to fly my drone over the falls to get around the problem. WOW what a fantastic angle on this beautiful place. Happy Waterfall Wednesday.
02.01.2022 Here's my latest video shot with my Mavic Pro2 at Point Roadknight Anglesea. Hope you enjoy.
