A Disability Support Workers main duties include the direct delivery of specified supports to a person with a disability funde...d by the NDIS. You must have the ability to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, and their families, while prompting the behaviours and values that are important to the organisations mission, vision, and values Disability Support Workers are a valued member of Hurdle’s Support Staff and contributes to the development of service practices through regular staff meetings, planning processes and policy reviews. All service delivery must be in line with National Disability Insurance Scheme (Practice Standards) 2018. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, candidates must be committed to supporting people with a disability and pride themselves on exceptional service delivery. Successful candidates will enjoy a range of Staff benefits including flexible working hours, continuous skills development and training, and above Award remuneration. You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this position, you must provide the following (subject to clear checks): Cert IV in Disability or relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience. Current National Police Check (under 6 months). Working with Children’s Check. Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) Check. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Current Driver’s License.
