12.01.2022 It was good to see the happy smiling faces at training tonight for our first night back post Covid lockdown. A lot of rust to chip away at but great to be back in the Dojo.

11.01.2022 We have had a great day today catching up and training with Sensei Philip Hinshelwood (Yagyu Shingan Ryu) and meeting His students, Scott Bannister and Chris Davis. We also met and trained with Sensei Stewart Brain (Judo) and Sensei Mike Jeans (Juijitsu). Thank you to Scott Bannister and Stewart Brain for allowing us to join in training in their Dojos. Thank you Sensei Phil Hinschelwood for your patience with us.

10.01.2022 This is Eric locking me up during our training yesterday. With Scott Bannister assisting in the background.

09.01.2022 We got together last night for our end of training year dinner with our Instructors and students. It’s always good to get together socially and have a laugh. It’s been a very different year in 2020 but we have managed to continue training through the Covid19 lockdowns by meeting at a local beach. A special thanks to Shihan Lesley, Sensei Dee and Sensei Leisa for just being there and helping out. I couldn’t do it without you.... Sorry, we forgot to take pictures.

05.01.2022 Finally, some good news. I have received information from the Lions Club that we should be able to resume training in the Dojo on Tuesday 14th (subject to final confirmation). I will confirm as soon as they advise. So, dust off your Dogi and get ready for training again. Im excited about getting moving again.... We have a Covid safe plan and it will be strictly enforced. In short, everyone entering the Dojo will have their temperature taken (no contact) and if 38 degrees or more we wont be able to train. Hand sanitizer will be provided and will be used at every opportunity. Social distancing will be enforced. Partner work ( with social distancing) will be okay but we will have the same partner for the session. No equipment or weapons will be shared, bring your own. There is other stuff but this is it in a nutshell. We are looking forward to seeing your happy smiling faces back in the Dojo
