22.01.2022 Hi everyone (long post). Hope you are all safe and well. Its great that we finally have some news on when we may be back training at the dojo. MONDAY 22nd JUNE is the day that we can (hopefully) return. As we are an indoor sport, we dont come under the recent restriction lift. So, unfortunately, we are not coming back after this weekend. We will keep everyone posted as the day gets closer with the procedures we will need to follow for ours and your safe return. We will... be following strict hygiene rules (like we normally do anyway) but there may be a few new things we need to put in place. As we will be returning only a week before school holidays, no term classes (kinda kids and special needs) will start until the start of term 3, only those kinda kids currently training will attend their final session for Term 2 at the dojo. Also, to avoid confusion, we will be staying on our COVID-19 timetable for that week, then go into our usual school holiday timetable. I will attach the covid timetable again. School holiday timetable will be available soon. We will continue to operate online until the 22nd, then online training will cease and all classes should hopefully be back at the dojo. I will also post this information on the online groups. Looking forward to actually seeing your smiling faces soon. The countdown is on! Stay safe. See more

15.01.2022 Can you believe its school holidays again at the end of the week?! Here is the school holiday timetable for everyone. I have also posted it in both online groups. Please read through it carefully. You will notice the main difference this time is that we will be shutting down for the second week of the holidays. The sempais cant run the classes for us this time around and I think we all deserve a break from our screens. Try to get out and about during that second week, its not just an excuse to be lazy. Hopefully after the holidays we will know a bit more about how we will be returning to onsite training. We may need to do some training outside to start with, so stay tuned for information about when and where classes will be run. Hope you are all well. Stay strong. OSU!

If your child is old enough to join in with our general karate (5+) and you would rather do those classes, that is totally fine. 08.01.2022 As much as Dan Andrews announcements are another slap in the face to us, the only way out of this is to keep moving forwards. We have already come so far. Stay strong. Dont let those negative thoughts inside your head, they will do you harm. You cant let it win. Adapt, overcome, survive; you can do it. This will all be a distant memory one day, one that made us stronger. Together we can keep each other going. If anyone is struggling for motivation and needs to reach out for a chat, we are here for you. Hold you heads high and plough on through, you owe it to yourself. 03.01.2022 How could you call 2020 a bad year with an ending like that!! Grading weekend was amazing as always; blood, plenty of sweat and many tears. We would not have it any other way. Top effort to all of the teens and adults who graded yesterday. It has been such a tough year but watching you all slog it out, you would not have known it; you were pushed to your limits and the grading was a strong as it always is. We are so proud of each and every one of you and you should be p...roud too. Congratulations to our two newest Sempai’s who graded to their brown belts - Sempai Dylan and Sempai Jasmin (Jazzi). Both of you stayed strong to the very end, especially through those gruelling 10 rounds of kumite, true warriors. I do not think there was a dry eye in the room, we were all so very proud. Be sure to address Dylan and Jazzi and Sempai from now on. Thank you to all of our assessors who gave up their weekend to assist with the gradings. Gradings would never run as smoothly without you. Wear your new belts with pride, set some new goals, and keep moving forward. OSU. See more
