24.01.2022 Busy vs. slow....how do you prefer your day to be? There are certainly advantages and disadvantages of both. Busy can make you feel productive or maybe inspired and there is the chance of you learning new things, but it can also be stressful and draining at times. Slow can give you time to catch up on things you have not been doing and plan things for the coming days or weeks, but it can make the days long and also makes procrastination more likely.... 13.01.2022 What is Boxing Day to you? The name traditionally came from a time when the rich used to box their gifts to give to the poor. Boxing Day was a day off for servants and they traditionally received a boxed gift from their master and could go home to give boxed gift to their own families. For me personally, I am originally from Melbourne which means that Boxing Day should either be about Sales or Cricket, but I'm really not a fan of either. Boxing Day for me is taking down the C...hristmas Tree which I will begin doing about 30 seconds after this post, by Boxing Day I have had enough of the tree and decorations! 08.01.2022 Seize Your Admin? Whats in a name? It was the most rewarding and most difficult experience of starting my business. Yes, I am a Virtual Assistant but so glad I chose to use the word Admin in my business name as virtual assistant can cover so many different areas but my business is administration based.... Your, because it is always you that I want to help! Most importantly is the first word of the name; SEIZE! Firstly it relates to the phrase Seize the day; to enjoy the present and not worry about the future; to live for the moment....that was the thought pattern that made the business begin. Secondly was the thought of Seize your admin (the name itself). The word seize is to take, possibly eagerly and decisively, which is what my business wants to do for yours. We want to take the work you dont really want to do and complete it for you eagerly. Finally, and more personally, seize is part of the the word seizure....and I have Epilepsy. Epilepsy is the reason I chose to start my own business; it has given me strength and direction. This business would not have existed without it. Seize Your Admin....3 very important, very powerful words!

07.01.2022 Behind the scenes....what is Seize Your Admin working on this week? One of our clients has entrusted us to manage his waterproofing business while he has been overseas since Christmas. He is back into his normal position this week and we will continue with tasks like purchase orders, scheduling, emails and more. Another client, a party hire specialist, wants us to assist them with their monthly newsletter.... A life coach wants us to assist in the beginning stages of a series of podcasts and a book. We are also creating profiles on more lead generation sites, trying to get our name out there and hoping to bring more clients in.
