18.01.2022 Dear Clients, We have really missed you and hope you and your loved ones have been keeping well and safe through this unprecedented pandemic. The NSW government has now listed remedial and therapeutic massage under health services which are to remain open. The health department has stated that allied health services and other health services including remedial massage should stay open to reduce the burden on the medical system. We understand this is a serious time and respect that many of you may not be comfortable returning to massage yet. However, we are happy to be of service to those of you who is in need. We will be doing everything to make our clinic a safe environment for you. This includes infection control procedures and individual client screening. We will be offering strictly remedial massage for addressing physical conditions such as acute pain and discomfort and chronic conditions. Stress management is a legitimate health concern, especially at this time, and as most of you know, remedial massage is one of the best treatments for stress. Relaxation massages fall under the "personal" category and is not available. In addition to the standard, we will continue with enhanced hygiene procedures. These include: - The standard changing of towels between clients and washing them at 95 degrees. - Fully sanitising the room between clients. This includes sanitising all surfaces such as massage table, chair and door handles before and after all treatments. - Placing more time between clients so there will be extra time to sanitise surfaces and also there will be no contact between one client and the next client. - There will be sanitiser in the room for your hands when entering. - We will wear masks when treating you in the face up position. If preferred, we can wear masks during the whole treatment and we can also wear gloves if you wish. We respectfully ask all clients to call ahead and not to attend if: they are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms, they have returned from overseas in the past two weeks, they have or have been in contact with a known case of COVID-19 persons they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell. We will do the same. We will also be diligent with our own personal hygiene using sanitiser and soap and water to wash hands and arms thoroughly before and after every client. We will also not work and self-isolate if we feel unwell or have any coronavirus symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath).
