22.01.2022 To all our valued clients, We would like to keep you up to date with the foreclosure market in Atlanta. As you know we have been sourcing properties for clients for well over a year now and many of you have been able to take advantage of the great bargains that have been on offer. The market in Atlanta is changing fast with large institutions now entering the single family residential market with billions of dollars of funding available and buying up a large volume of homes.... There is also competition from home buyers, local investors and international investors all wanting to get a piece of this market. This has resulted in multiple bids being placed on good quality properties. This of course is driving up prices and reducing the yields available on purchase. A very interesting article was recently published in the Wall Street Journal explaining what is occurring in the Atlanta market. I have posted the link for you below. Warren buffet gives his opinion on buying single family homes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMvQPeBAesw I believe there is still a limited window of opportunity to purchase well selected properties at good prices. The good buying season is unlikely to last too much longer. With the strength of the Australian dollar currently trading at over $1.05 the opportunity to pick up houses at a fraction of their replacement cost still remains for those that take action. We are currently exploring new options to bring you cashflow properties in the Atlanta market.
