24.01.2022 Feeling very humble and proud to have received the 2019 National Community Service Award presented by Simon Brody from our licensee Millennium3 yesterday. There are many deserving people who continue to do amazing things to raise donations for charities, hospitals and other institutions and also give their time, support, money and love to those most in need particularly sick, disabled and orphan children. I am truely humbled to be recognised amongst these special people. My ...charity work in Bali is small compared to others but it is by far the most rewarding and heartfelt feeling I have ever experienced. Over the past 6 years I have met many amazing orphaned kids & displaced children, sick & disabled children and their mothers, some elderly people in hospices and other disadvantaged people who have inspired me with their courage, smiles, strength and love. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported and donated to my small charity called ‘cakes 4 kids Bali’ - this is a unique charity where 100% of the funds to directly to help the sick and orphaned children. Thank you in particular to my business partner, Eric Bohl and my firm Select Advice for supporting my charity financially and also allowing me time to spend in Bali doing my charity work. See more

23.01.2022 Like all Australians, we have been shocked and saddened by the devastation caused by the bushfires to human lives, communities. animals and our beautiful native environment. The team at Select Advice Financial Planning would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the bushfires locally and interstate and express our sincerest appreciation to our emergency services and volunteers who are frightening these awful blazes. To show our support, we will be making a significant donation on behalf of our firm and our clients to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. 18.01.2022 We know people are doing it tough in Melbourne at the moment and we wish everyone good health and safety particularly through the next 6 weeks. During these challenging times, Select Advice is proud to be donating weekly to the ‘Friends of Bali Charity’ which is helping needy, sick & disabled children in and around Bali who’s parents or carers cannot afford proper medical care or even the basics like daily food. 17.01.2022 In these uncertain times, it is important to remember there are many people in desperate need of help and support. Bali is a place close to many of our hearts and is a community in desperate need of support particularly Doctors, nurses & hospitals who are running out of medical supplies including surgical masks, food and funds to pay staff. Select Advice has decided to commence ongoing weekly donations to show our support and help those most in need. Please keep safe everyone

Well there’s always a first ..if you’re going to seek financial advice virtually, you might as well make yourself as comfy as possible ..and where else but on your bed Stella & Andrew run a Handyman business in the Bayside area and have become new clients of Select Advice. Eric and I had so much fun with Stella & Andrew..bedroom financial advice was certainly a first for us!

Congratulations to Eric Bohl & Lucinda on the safe arrival of thier little bundle of joy yesterday Mum, baby & dad are all doing well and I’m sure big sister Eloise is looking forward to having little Sebastian home soon. We are all thrilled for Eric & Lucinda - congratulations and much love to you both on the safe arrival of baby Sebastian Dion Bohl ..

05.01.2022 Touching and heartfelt visit this week in Bali to visit and support some mother’s with severely disabled children. My heart goes out to these amazing mums for their unconditional love and strength to look after their very loved children. These mothers are extremely poor and live in remote villages, they can’t always afford to pay for transport to bring their children to get therapy let alone any other medical support. I was honoured to meet these inspirational women along wit...h their beautiful children and spend some time with them. On behalf of Select Advice we were able to provide some milk, food and financial support to each of the mothers and the therapy centre. This was certainly an emotional yet incredibly inspiring experience for me that reinforced that there is nothing in the world more loving and powerful than the unconditional love of a mother for their child no matter what the sacrifices See more
