24.01.2022 Wondering how to get yourself a lower mortgage rate? I had another client call me just this week, asking if we could help to get their mortgage rate down from the current 4.9% that their (I won’t name them) lender has them on. Considering new loans are around 3%, the saving in interest per year to this person will be nearly $6,000 per annum! I’m afraid there’s not much joy for those of us with cash though bank deposit rates continue to fall and are predicted to go lower so...on. There can be alternatives, so please reach out if you need help. You can find our latest newsletter here: https://tinyurl.com/to9cgvl

21.01.2022 Here's our latest newsletter. We've included some info on retirement planning, in line with the "How much Super is Enough" theme from past newsletters, as well as a reminder that when it comes to getting a better rate from our banks, "don't ask, don't get". You can read it here: https://tinyurl.com/ybh3maos

20.01.2022 Here's our latest newsletter, and continuing the retirement theme, we've featured an article on Financial Security - as with most things in life, the message is reasonably simple - put a plan in place, and review it! You can read it here: https://tinyurl.com/y7sj5frm

18.01.2022 Here’s our latest newsletter, and at the risk of sounding repetitive, it’s on retirement planning again. I’m regularly being asked about this from clients how much is enough, what if this happens and what if that happens. Bottom line is most clients I meet with are in a good position when we take into account Super, Investment Assets like investment properties and share portfolios, and Centrelink. 15.01.2022 Here’s our latest newsletter, with a few pics from a recent trek I did out of Wanaka, on the beautiful south island of New Zealand. Spectacular, and very challenging. Also featured are some tips on what a Financial Adviser can help with when it comes to planning for a secure retirement. You can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/y4p3qxno

13.01.2022 Here’s our latest newsletter, with an article on the economy. For those of you who follow our newsletters, you’ll probably notice I don’t post articles like this very often, but as I’m getting a lot of questions about what’s going on out there, I figured this would be a timely update. 11.01.2022 Here’s our latest newsletter, with an article on one of those hot topics how Social Media is influencing our buying decisions. Mix this in with services like Afterpay, and I think it’s fair to say the entire retail spending and lending environment is in the middle of a major transition. 07.01.2022 "More than ever, people are rethinking what makes a house a home, and downsizing their space to upgrade their lives. That’s where we come in. We are seeking out families facing huge challenges, and offering them a tiny solution," say Weisbarth and Giffin.

03.01.2022 Can social media use be linked to spending? Research shows it can. For example, one study found that social networks such as Facebook and Instagram can motivate impulsive buying behaviours. But how does social media affect our spending?
