01.01.2022 Arnold Young was the man that took me under his wing and showed me the art of bricklaying. We worked in partnership for seven years on the Gold Coast . Arnold was from London and was shown the trade by a third generation bricklayer. He was a fast and neat bricklayer who loved to have a joke and a laugh. He became my second father as I loved his good cheer and will always be eternally grateful to him. This is the reason after 45years in the trade I clam the title Master Brickler. Arnold taught two other boys befor my self that went on to become apprentice of the year in Victoria . No brag just fact.
