25.01.2022 2020 you’ve been unreal, surreal and very real! In my personal experience of 2020 I can’t help but acknowledge the silver linings, and the overview of life that this year has afforded me; afforded us all. Time for me to take a break from here for a bit to soak in some rest and time with family and friends... and silence. Wishing you all a safe departure from 2020 and a healthy and silver lined 2021. I look forward to sharing with you all again next year! ... Peace out x

22.01.2022 Life As Is 680x860cm Life As Is is inspired by the ordinary everyday natural beauty that is constantly carrying us through life, the small moments of wonder in our direct experience that fill us up. I consider it a personal measure of success if i manage to notice this ordinary awe each day and embrace life just as it is in the moment. In a world of constant distraction, everything pulling for our attention, I am finding it more important than ever to give attention to t...he things that really matter; especially in this new Covid reality. Find this piece available online @artloversaustralia for a fresh pop of peace and presence on your wall. X

21.01.2022 During school holidays as a kid I used to pick tiny posies from my mums garden, wrap the stems in a wet tissue and foil, and roam the streets of our town with a friend and door drop the posies. I used to love imagining the unexpected surprise and unanswered question of where the flowers may have appeared from. Sometimes my friend and I would get busted and sometimes not, running and giggling out the front gate. Unknowingly at that age, I hoped that the moments of discovering... the posies would provide enduring comfort, delight and joy. A warm memory and reminder that the world is indeed a beautiful place no matter what is going on. Dropping print orders or paintings gives me the same delight these days. Thank you to everyone who chose my art for their special gifting this year, I’m incredibly grateful. Merry Christmas everyone! Wishing for you all enduring hope, comfort, delight and joy... especially this year. X

18.01.2022 Retrograde. Tis the season! I love a little sprinkle of astrology to refine my perspective. This canvas of emotive sweeping pastel gestures explores the feeling of revisiting what we thought we already knew, discovering that there are always more layers to unpack. A retrograde to our past self to pick up lost pieces and lovingly bring them home to our heart. Powerful in its softness and very timely. ... Available via @artloversaustralia See more

17.01.2022 When we can slow down enough, what we hide loses its reason to hide, and everything becomes holy. Then what’s real moves between us, and what matters is everywhere Mark Nepo

17.01.2022 Shining people doing shinny things Go girls! X

16.01.2022 ...Because creating is a season, not a switch, rest must be on the list.

16.01.2022 You might remember the ‘10 Barossa Artists’ Exhibition earlier in the year at @wanderlustgreenock, a seed for a greater vision that I was humbled to paint a self portrait for. Well, the seed has well and truely sprouted and 10 has become over 100 to create The @100barossaartists Exhibition; a collection of self portraits by Barossa visual artists. It has all come to life and bloomed at the @sheis_art_barossa Pop Up Gallery, and wow, is it beautiful!! Open to view throughout @...salafestival August it’s not to be missed. Even with the challenges of COVID, the gorgeous girls Renee @reneesarthome Kirsty @valley_of_the_radicles and Rebecca @rebe.ccareynolds have pulled out the steak knives and grown the vision into not only an Exhibition, but also a projection experience and, a book! Feel the power of ground up, of trusting the process, of the connectivity of the arts and community. Good medicine for current times. X See more

13.01.2022 Small loveable details that may or may not survive the process.

12.01.2022 Driving at Dusk, a response to driving home on my back roads through the dusk lit landscape on a chilly winters evening. Winter is almost over here in Australia. The subtle promise of spring has begun and soon enough it will be summer, so hey, if you see a watery wave instead, there’s no arguments from me! Listed now on @artloversaustralia

11.01.2022 I’ve been working on something small and special that goes perfectly with Gin and Christmas... and lasts longer too! Available soon; copper embellished archival mini prints of the mandala Distill, created from gin botanicals in collaboration with the beautiful folks at @seppeltsfieldrddistillers for their label that we all know and love. Those of you who have visited the amazing Distillery in Seppeltsfield here in the Barossa, would have seen the huge Distill print behind the tasting bar, and now, after much demand you can have one yourself! Stay tuned for the release from @seppeltsfieldrddistillers and selfpollinate.com just in time for Christmas. X

10.01.2022 Friday in the Studio. Clearing the noisy frenetic mind with first layers... Silent spaces of calm and peace to come next.

10.01.2022 Winter school holidays are here! Let’s see how I go focusing my attention on what’s right in front of me, rather than what’s on here! Have a great school holiday break friends xx... Natural State 2016. Holds me true. X See more

06.01.2022 Every cloud has a silver lining right? When I packed up my studio earlier in the year to return home due to a COVID cluster in our region, i had no idea the pandemic was about to open up the opportunity to study online with the @nas_au! Attending a weekend workshop on campus a couple of years ago, I longed to get back and now I can access the School’s Short Courses and incredible teachers from my little studio amongst the vines. It is quite ridiculously wonderful. Highly recommend for those with the ache. X

04.01.2022 Print wrapping. Always a pleasure. Just As You Are in the 30x30cm size is just over a handful away from the end of its edition. By far the most popular, I almost didn’t include this one in the collection. At the time, fighting off the ants on the sticky figs in the afternoon sun, I felt in my mind that I rushed it too much and I couldn’t see what was really there. My Husband convinced me otherwise and I’m glad he did. Just shows how our ‘not good enough’ critical minds ...can trick us sometimes, fighting the way things are for the way we wanted it to be. In the end it’s the imperfections that connect and tell stories, and this print by far has enriched my experience of sharing my work through connection and story with its many collectors. Life is clever like that. See more

03.01.2022 Grateful for the ground I tread on! I’ve been soaking in the view from my studio window this year through online study with the National Art School; I’ve found yet another way to connect to the environment around me and find appreciation in the simple ordinary awe and wonder at my doorstep... and, I get to change the colours to my hearts desire too! The little dark cradle corners have become a common element, which depicts the mass of Jasmine that runs across the front verandah of our home, cradling my view. It’s become a symbol of being held, being cradled, being nurtured by my home turf.
