23.01.2022 GERIATRIC HEALTH CHECKS!!! For October and November we will be offering discounted Geriatric Health Checks for dogs and cats. This check over and combination of tests for pets over 7 years of age, is designed to look for early signs of common age related problems, and start managing them before they are a significant problem. The earlier we pick up these issues, the longer we can keep them controlled. ... For dogs, these checks will include an extended consultation with the vet, a urine test (sample collected in advance if possible and brought to the appointment) & a blood test. For cats the check will include an extended consultation, a urine test and a blood test, but also a T4 (thyroid test) and blood pressure measurement as these issues more commonly affect cats.
