10.01.2022 One of our favourite birds to see on Safari! The Lilac Breasted Roller puts on quite a show with its magnificent colours. Its call however is not as magnificent. It has taken me a while to get a shot at the right time as they are very fast birds catching insects primarily in the air.

03.01.2022 Sensational Africa! There is nothing better than watching an African storm roll in with a pride of lions. Upon arrival in the Okavango Delta we came across this pride who had just finished feeding on a buffalo. As the thunder rolled and the storm moved through the landscape the bush came alive with the arrival of the much needed rain. 01.01.2022 Deception Valley lies in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana. I visited this this amazing place whilst staying at one of our favourite camps, Kalahari Plains. The wide open spaces are home to an incredibly diverse amount of wildlife and birdlife. The sparse vegetation is perfect for spotting wildlife, which is usually residing under trees to camouflage and escape the midday November heat.
