Her first infatuation was with Lance, a bow that helped her to become a world-class archer, she is fond of the Berlin Wall and she claims to have a physical relationship with a piece of fence she keeps in her bedroom. But it is the Eiffel Tower she has pledged to love, honour and obey in an intimate ceremony attended by a handful of friends. She has changed her name legally to reflect the bond.

19.01.2022 Fun Wedding Facts: Honeymoons weren't always so luxurious. Ancient Norse bridal couples went into hiding after the wedding, and a family member would bring them a cup of honey wine for 30 days or one moon which is how the term "honeymoon" originated.

18.01.2022 Married at First Sight for Real: Thousands of couples have taken part in a mass wedding at the South Korean headquarters of the Unification Church the third such event since the death of Sun Myung Moon, their self-proclaimed messiah and church founder. About 3,800 couples, some of whom had met just days earlier, participated in the ceremony in Gapyeong, east of the capital, Seoul. Mass weddings, often held in sports stadiums with tens of thousands of couples, have long been... a signature feature of the church, founded by Moon in 1954. The Rev Sun Myung Moon died in September 2012, aged 92, of complications from pneumonia. His 72-year-old widow, Hak Ja Han, presided over Tuesdays ceremony. The churchs mass weddings began in the early 1960s. At first, they involved just a few dozen couples but the numbers mushroomed over the years. In 1997, 30,000 couples tied the knot in Washington, and two years later around 21,000 filled the Olympic Stadium in Seoul Many were personally matched by Moon, who taught that romantic love led to sexual promiscuity, mismatched couples and dysfunctional societies. Moons preference for cross-cultural marriages also meant that couples often shared no common language. Around 800 new couples married on Tuesday had chosen to be matched four days earlier at an engagement ceremony presided over by Moons widow, though in recent years matchmaking responsibilities have largely shifted towards parents. Those who choose to be matched by the church must confirm under oath that they are virgins, and after their wedding the couple must refrain from sexual relations for a minimum of 40 days. See more

16.01.2022 Today I had the very sad news that one of my friends passed away. Sadly for him he never married, never had children, he was the victim of so many childhood demons he never could completely recover from and allow himself to have the ultimate relationship of love and family.. He was only 52 and although he had many relationships he just couldnt move to that next level. I think towards the end he lead a very lonely life and depression took its toll. As we get older being on our own isnt always the best thing for us reaching out is a far better option Unfortunately my friend James didnt know tomorrow was going to be a better day, he died all alone, just so so sad RIP peace my friend

06.01.2022 Groovy: In the wake of the conservative, buttoned-up 1950s came the flower power counterculture of the '60s: civil rights, the sexual revolution, and the women's liberation movement. The 1960s were an awesome time for fashionespecially wedding dresses! From minis and maxis to A-lines and caftans, wedding dress designers are still heavily influenced by the styles that came out of that decade. 1960s wedding dresses were definitely inspired by America's first lady, Jacquelin...e Kennedy. In 1961 Oleg Cassini became her official designer, and together they managed to excite an entire generation of women getting married to buy slim-fitting sheaths and adopt sleeveless and cap-sleeve A-line designs. Elizabeth Taylor was another huge inspiration for 1960s wedding dress designs. 1963s Cleopatra brought jeweled collars along with heavy eyeliner and top-dos, while the end of the decade saw a major shift towards maxi dresses and empire waists for a flower-child look that continued into the 1970s. Check out some of these unique styles!!!

05.01.2022 Marry your wife over and over: Men are so worried that marriage will leave them with only one woman for the rest of their lives. Thats simply not true. I fell in love with a 19-year-old rock climber, married a 20-year-old animal lover, started a family with a 24-year-old mother, then built a farm with a 25-year-old homemaker, and today Im married to a 27-year-old woman of wisdom. If your mind is healthy, youll never get tired of one woman. Youll actually become overwhelmed with how many beautiful versions of her you get to marry over the years. Dont say no to marriage, say yes and keep saying yes until the day you die.....

05.01.2022 Fun Wedding Facts: Ïn several countries, including Germany and Greece, the bride attempts to cover her new husbands foot while dancing in order to establish dominance"- Go Brides....

03.01.2022 Spectacular Wedding is the world's biggest ever, with 126 bridesmaids, 25 best men, 20 page boys and 23 flowers girls Planning a wedding is a major undertaking for any couple... but not for Nisansala and Nalin from Sri Lanka who married this week at a Guinness World Record breaking ceremony near the capital city of Colombo. The bride and groom had a staggering 126 bridesmaids - easily beating the previous record of 96 held by a Thai couple - all dressed by Nisansala's sister-...in-law Champi Siriwardana. Of course it probably helped that Champi happens to be one of the Asian island's leading wedding planners and dress designers. It also didn't hurt that the guest of honour was Sri Lanka's First Lady, Shiranthi Rajapaksa, wife of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The spectacular ceremony was elaborately staged at the Avendra Gardens in Negombo, 30 kms from Colombo in front of hundreds of family and friends. All of the wedding party - bride, groom, 126 bridesmaids, 25 best men, 20 page boys and 23 flower girls - were dressed in richly embroidered traditional costumes in shades of purple and gold.

02.01.2022 It’s done....
