14.01.2022 What a day 6 years ago. The day I achieved a goal I had dreamt about since starting my martial arts journey. Being presented my bushido (warrior) cross. Massive thank you to my trainer/ mentor Graham for presenting me with his personal cross. A huge milestone in my journey.
13.01.2022 I’ve been struggling with loss in my life atm. I lost my grandad after months of being in and out of hospital. Every phone call just dreading to hear that he’s gone. Having to watch a man you grew up respecting and admiring slowly dwindle away to nothing. Then only a week later had to surrender my first dog out of home due to behavioural issues after 4 years of no issues. It’s funny when things start to fall in place, life throws a spanner in the works and makes you re-evalu...ate everything. Makes you question the decisions you’ve made and the path you are on. I have found such love and support from friends, family and work (dojo) to help me get through. Needless to say this really helped me today. Helped me to realise that sometimes it’s ok to not be ok. Sometimes you need to ask for help, sometimes your allowed to be the one that needs a hand up. So for all those who have shared their love and support I say thank you. I couldn’t have survived with out you. And if your struggling no matter how insignificant it may seem my door is always open. Respect
