22.01.2022 Were all looking forward to the WAKL WA Open this Sunday, September 13. However, we do need to share some added information as the tournament will run slightly... differently than normal. As you can appreciate, these are challenging times, and we are still faced with restrictions and guidelines that we all need to follow. We are posting some of the Regulations we need to abide, and also some of the changes on the tournament format. It’s been a long road for... you to achieve this milestone but it is only the start of things to come. Your prior achievements help set you up for your 1st Dan and we wish you every success in the future .

14.01.2022 This photo taken 5 years ago at the State Karate Championship of 4 outstanding young men who had basically grown up competing with and against each other. All are now coaching in some capacity at their respective clubs for the benefit of the next generation.

In the meantime get your creative content hat on and start working on creating a vid showcasing what youre going to do, to do WHATEVER IT TAKES, to get to the Nationals. By the way, the first step for our WA athletes is signing up for the State Team by no later than Thursday, February 13. Do it now! And also register for the first WAKL (Senshinkan) competition for the year being held on March 8 (Deadline for entry March 2). On a side note, there will be rules and regulations to follow, including using the official WAKF music track to showcase your awesome vid!!! Everyone adapted really well as an athlete or an officia...l with the Covid restrictions. Thank you to all our members including Parents, Athletes and Instructors on helping to make it a successful day. Our Club had Volunteers as Referees, Marshall’s, table officials, Coaches and junior members assisting with warming up and preparing the athletes to compete. You are all Champions
