We service a diverse range of customers within the commercial and residential sectors, predominantly in the CBD and western suburbs of Melbourne. As an apprentice you are required to attend TAFE (Heidelberg), to study a Certificate III in Locksmithing, whilst also developing your locksmith skills via on-the job training. The apprenticeship is ...a 4-year commitment. You will receive training in all facets of locks, and locking devices, including assembly, repair, installation, rekeying and key cutting. Your workplace will be based as required, across the workshop, office, various job sites and will include supporting the mobile team in the field. This role is suitable to someone who: Can demonstrate a genuine interest to learn a mechanical trade. Is well presented, energetic and has a mature outlook Is confident with both hand tools and power tools Is confident in liaising with customers both onsite and over the phone, and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service Good judgement and problems solving skills Has a willingness to adapt to change and aptitude to learn new skills And, above all must have a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail The role is open to those that hold the following essential criteria: Completed year 11 Math and English and be computer literate Current Australian Drivers Licence manual preferred Right to Work in Australia Able to obtain the following: o National Police Clearance o Working with Children Card o Construction Card We offer: A pleasant, evolving workplace Direct line of communication with management Paid training and tuition fees Basic tools and a tool allowance Company uniform If you meet all the essential criteria and are interested in the role, please email your resume along with cover letter addressed to the: Business Executive.
