25.01.2022 We installed another of the Pleated Retractable Insect Screens today for a repeat customer. In addition, another Channel Roll Up awning, to keep the western sun off the outdoor furniture and reduce the overall temperature, which was very successful according to John, our very happy customer. These outdoor screens can span up to 7 meters wide and 3.5 meters high. Perfect for large openings, bi-folds, french doors, sliding doors. They are somewhat tolerant of animals crashing through the screen and typically don’t suffer screen sag.

25.01.2022 Channel Roll Ups for a newly built extension with balcony in Chapel Hill. The colour is Caramel with black powder coating on the aluminium. The bottom sections are fix position and the uppers can be set in any position. Placed for daytime privacy and sun shade, the perfect solution. 20.01.2022 Installed a new Bi-Fold for Fred in Burpengary. Fred has a nice little secondary dwelling on acreage. The fall on the concrete was a challenge but we got there.

11.01.2022 Is PVC better than TIMBER? PVC has some great attributes, to be sure, primarily its waterproof. There are some things that timber does better though. Timber regains its advantage when combined with modern paint systems. PVC is a price driven choice, its sold as a better alternative, its cheap, the advantages of timber run from mechanical to environmental.... Timber buildings still here a hundred years after being built, CONSIDER what you are leaving behind, do you want your shutters to be on our planet LONG after your gone? 09.01.2022 Are Australian made shutters really made in Australia? Kinda... Typically a local manufacturer will import all of the extrusions (PVC polymer or variations of it) from China, the Australian made component is simply cut to custom size & assembled. This does support Aussie jobs Ask, if they avoid the question or answer in a deceptive way then perhaps you should be looking for an honest retailer..... Timber isnt made here, with the exception of some high end specialists. Mortise & tenon is a high strength and superior joint used in timber shutters, or hybrids. Once the frames are custom made they are sealed with UV stabilised polyurethane paint. Quality control is excellent from our manufacturer and they have a sensible warranty that complies with industry standards. Call us if you want more information.
