23.01.2022 We are very sad to announce that the the 2020 Chrysalis flights have been postponed due to Covid-19. Thank you all for your continued support and keep an eye on our page. 2021 Flights will run from Friday 23rd July to Sunday 25th July. Registrations are already open for the 2021 Flights! 23.01.2022 The Central Alabama Chrysalis Community has reached out to us for help for their 72 hour prayer vigil. Their upcoming boys flight is from 7-10 November. Alabama is about 15 hours behind us, so please consider signing up to some of their early AM and late PM slots. ... 09.01.2022 To our beloved Chrysalis Community, Today should have been the first day of our 2020 Chrysalis flight. We should have been meeting and learning and listening with a wonderful group of young people and we would have been looking forward to an exciting and blessed weekend. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we have had to change our plans, just like the rest of the world. We have had to adjust our schedules and expectations and we have realized how dependent we all are on each other... and our wider community around us. We pray for all of those who initially said yes to being part of the Chrysalis team. We pray for all of those who were to be our newest caterpillars this weekend. We give thanks for all of those in various unspoken and sometimes unacknowledged support roles. For those who volunteer in the dining room, agape creation, prayer vigil, candle lighting, financial donations, cleaning and closing, we thank you for your support and the blessings you bring and that you are to everyone else. In 2021, we look forward to the next flights with our Lay Directors, Chad Teschward and Jo Reynoldson. We pray for their families, support networks, current and future team and all the caterpillars whose lives will be transformed due to their dedication and agape love.
