01.01.2022 Serendipity Centre would like to introduce Dr. Larson Paulding (Osteopath) 'Osteopathy embodies a holistic approach and respects that everything works in unity. By addressing limiting factors, we can help to assist the body’s own ability to heal itself. I generally, adopt a structural approach, using High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) technique, Mobilisation, Soft Tissue, Myofascial Release (MFR) but these techniques will vary on the patient and how they respond to treatment.... Having experienced many injuries through gymnastics this has allowed me to understand how injuries affect you both physically and psychologically. I believe it’s important to educate patients about their body to give them the tools to make positive informed changes to improve their health and well-being. Manual therapy may promote changes and help to reduce pain and improve function, but this is only one part of my management. Therefore, I have a emphasise on prescribing exercises, ergonomic education, and general lifestyle advice that will help promote long term change. Essentially, I want to understand your ultimate goals so that we can develop a management plan that will best suit your needs.' See more
