21.01.2022 To all our beautiful clients out there, so with the devastating news that was delivered to us yesterday by Dan Andrews Sereniti will be still shut until the 26th of October. I didn't post anything yesterday as my first reaction was to make sure my children and work colleges were are ok and as a mum all you want to do is protect them. Then came the panic of my client of omg what about their hair. As most of you know, my passion for hair goes deeper then just a cut or just a co...lour, it's sitting in my chair feeling safe, being able to talk with no judgment, venting, laughing,crying or what ever emotion happens to be going through your mind at that moment in time you life. To be able to escape from your world for a little while and feel some for of normality. Yes I too had a melt down last night stressing about how we all will get through this whether it be financially or emotionally. So with this said, please be kind to yourself and others around you, please don't judge others as everyone has their own story that you may not be aware of. Check up on family and friends as that one phone call could make such a big difference in their life. Please take care of your self and I can't wait to see you all back at the salon in another 6 weeks. 19.01.2022 I saw this tonight on social media and thought I needed to share it. It hasn’t been easy, its mentally draining making sure we are protecting you and our staff. New procedures and polices Covid plans. Feel free to share this post as I’m sure you either have a business, knows some one who has a business.

18.01.2022 To all of our beautiful clients, What an emotional day After a lot of soul searching throughout 2020 and over the Christmas period.. I decided to put the Sereniti property up on the market. Now that it has been sold, I will be relocating to a home based salon to continue with hairdressing only. Contact details will still be the same for the future. Our last day at 1 Barkly street will be the 1st of April.... This decision has not come lightly and as most of you know, the last 5 years of my life have not been easy. With the loss of 3 of my family members so quickly, it’s now time for me to get rid of some stress in my life and down size my business. I would personally like to thank everyone that has supported me throughout the past 14 years here at 1 Barkly Street from clients to staff but it is now time for me to find a happy work, life balance and enjoy quality time with my family. To all of you who have gift vouchers for the spa side, I would highly recommend you to book in as soon as possible. (If you have purchased a gift voucher for someone who may not see this post - please let them know to promptly book) Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support. 13.01.2022 CONTACT TRACING To save paper and to keep on top of contact tracing, we are now using a QR Code. As you enter the salon, please open your phone camera and face it to the code displayed on the desk. A link will pop up on your screen, when you click the link it will take you to a form where you can fill in your name and contact details. (You can check in more than one person through the one device)... As a small business who has been directly impacted by COVID-19, we are doing all we can to stop the spread. For other business owners, we highly recommend ‘Guest Track’ to create a QR code. The more businesses doing this means the more hope we have to find the source and track each case that pops up. I’m sure we all agree that no one wants to be put into lockdown again so please take the time to do this at your next appointment.
