19.01.2022 Well it’s been a few weeks since the Winter Solstice The pack up and reviews are complete and we are working on next year’s Winter Solstice We at Serenity Bush Camp, Elliott River Sound and Coonarr Events would like to thank all those that helped with this year’s event we would also like to thank all those that made the effort to come out to the event and enjoy yourselves because without your support we would not be able to continue running this event or any others like it. K...eep an eye out on our facebook pages Serenity Bush Camp and Coonarr Events for more information about next year’s Winter Solstice and some special offers we are working on for early bookings and rewards for those that organise groups of 12 or more. We are still working on possibly another show during the year featuring Blues & Bluegrass but would need a much larger audience to make it viable as we cannot continue to run events at a lose I would appreciate any feedback from anyone interested in attending such an event over 1 or 2 days also feedback from any interested Muso’s would be appreciated. And now for an update on Serenity Bush Camp we are hoping to move forward with facilities and the Council over the next month or so to get to a point where we will be able to open as a Nature based bush camping facility so that locals and tourists will be able to book in and enjoy the little piece of paradise we call Serenity See more

13.01.2022 Hi all just a short post to let all those interested know that due to some unforeseen circumstances this years Winter Solstice event was canceled, but due to some overwhelming support and requests we have decided to run a smaller scale event in the form of an informal gathering of good people. BBQ facilities will be available for those that would like to attend along with a PA and lighting on stage for anyone that would like to entertain those in attendance, Overnight camping... with limited amenities is available for anyone that wishes to stay overnight and if all goes well other music options will be available. For anyone that dose not want to grace the stage why not bring your instrument and voice and lets sit around a good old style camp fire and have a singalong/jam. There will be no charge for either entry or camping but you will have to bring all you need food, drink, eating utensils, seating, camping gear, etc. As usual the event will be held at Serenity on the picturesque banks of the Elliott River 717 Coonarr Rd. For those wanting to camp I suggest you arrive in daylight to set up camp, this is a bush camping environment. If you intend to avail yourself of this great opportunity to relax and socialise please reply to this post or let either Mick 0419349588 or Stan 0427191493 know so we can ensure all is ready for you to enjoy yourselves. I am sorry it is such late notice letting interested people know. Best regards to all Mick Ryan Serenity Bush Camp Elliott River Coonarr Picture is of sunset at Serenity after another day of preparation for this years gathering. See more
