25.01.2022 I am happy to announce, that with the easing of restrictions on Sunday, and after confirmation from my association, Serenity Acupuncture & Wellness is now open for routine care. For now, hours are still limited. Bookings can be made online at serenityacupuncture.com.au/booking

19.01.2022 I have been waiting to hear from my association regarding opening during the extension, and I am sad to say, that I will be continuing to be open for emergency appointments only. I have opened up limited hours for online booking for the next 2 weeks, to help make booking easier. With the easing of the curfew to 9pm, I will now be back open until 8pm. I will keep you informed of hours as we continue on the pathway out of the lockdown. I hope you are all well and staying safe. xx

19.01.2022 Good morning! With the easing of restrictions, allied health are now allowed to see you for non-emergency consultations. You may book in for an appointment if; You are in pain, or there is a deterioration of your condition A delay of treatment would result in an increase of pain or deterioration of your mental health or condition and will lead to an increase in the frequency of treatments, specialist care, or an increase in recovery time. ... To provide essential pre-operative or post-operative elective surgery care. I have also opened up online bookings again. I am still limiting my hours for now, but will continue to increase them over the course of the next few weeks. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the beautiful weather while it's here

18.01.2022 I hope you all had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather yesterday. Serenity Acupuncture & Wellness is open for all appointments, including routine care (yay!!!). And as scary as it sounds, Christmas and the new year is creeping up, so time to use up the last of those health fund extras before they reset. I have a...lso made the decision to no longer take bookings by phone. I understand for some this may be an inconvenience, and you have my sincerest apologies. I have decided to do this, due to the ongoing regulations brought on by COVID-19, which can leave little time between clients to return calls. There are also some changes in my personal life as of March 2021 which will also make it difficult (more on that next year). 16.01.2022 In case you didn't get the newsletter yesterday (check your spam folder), Serenity Acupuncture & Wellness is still open. Hours have been changed to ensure you are home before curfew. New hours are; Mon-Thursday - 10:00am - 7:30pm Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday (every second) - 9:00am - 2:00pm... I will also be implementing a pre-appointment screening questionnaire. This will be emailed to you prior to your appointment/in your booking confirmation email. Please answer fill this in prior to your appointment. It is a quick yes/no questionnaire asking about recent travel and symptoms. Please remember if you are showing any signs or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, or awaiting test results, to contact me to reschedule your appointment. No cancellation fee will be charged. 15.01.2022 After yesterday's post I had a few people asking about the ear seed kits, so I thought I would do a post about them for everyone. Ear seeds are 'seeds' made from either the Vaccaria plant (as the ones in the kits are) or stainless steel (the seeds I use in the clinic). These seeds are applied to particular acupuncture points within the ear to stimulate the points. I do this is clinic for clients at times, instead of using needles. These ear seeds stay in the ear, and can be s...timulated throughout the day by pushing on them. These kits are useful for when you can't come in for an acupuncture treatment as frequently as you would like, or just need a little extra boost. They contain: - 120 ear seeds - Tweezers - A clearly illustrated auriculotherapy chart for points to place seeds based on the condition -Instructions on how to use and apply Conditions ear kits are available are; - Fertility - Postpartum - Libido - Weight Loss - Stop Smoking - Stress - Anxiety - Insomnia - Headache/Migraines - Back pain/Sciatica - Menopause - Depression - Kids (The kids kit contains four auriculotherapy charts for the following conditions: Common Cold (Runny nose, Sore throat, etc.) Digestion Support (Constipation, Diarrhea, Stomachache, etc) Behavioral & Emotional (Anxiety, Hyperactivity etc.) Other Common Conditions (Sleep, Bedwetting, Headaches, Motion Sickness etc.) Additional Holistic tips, advice and acupressure body points / massage techniques to complement the ear point charts. ) Kits are usually $33 (Fertility and Kids are $40). 13.01.2022 Many of you know, there will be some changes coming next year, as I return to university. Due to this, I will have limited hours for appointments, and feel I must do my best to ensure all my wonderful clients can continue to have the options of times for appointments. For this reason, online bookings will now require a credit card number to make a booking. This is stored in a secure location, and is only used for charging late cancellation/no-show fees. You will not be charged without your knowledge. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I hope this means that I will have fewer no-shows, and have the time required contact those on the wait list.

12.01.2022 Serenity Acuouncture & Wellness will continue to operate as usual. I will let you know if there will be any changes based on Andrews press release tomorrow. If you require herbs, please let me know asap. Some vitamins and herbs can be sent direct to you from my supplier. Payment will be required before ordering. Ear pellets, press pellets (for body acupoints) and moxa sticks are also available for at home treatments. Please take care, and I will let you know of any changes asap.

12.01.2022 Last week was a very hectic week, with information regarding essential health services changing daily (and sometimes multiple times a day). I have been waiting to send this, just in case there were more changes, and to give you a small break from the multiple updates. :)New updates state that essential services, including Chinese Medicine, may remain open under specific conditions. That is; - No routine care - Emergency appointments only... If your condition is severe enough that without treatment you would deteriorate and may require hospital or specialist care, or prevent you from performing essential activities of daily living, then you may continue to come in. This includes physical, mental and emotional well-being. Time between clients will continue to allow of cleaning of the clinic room and equipment. Online bookings is currently disabled, and for all appointments, please contact me by email, [email protected], or message me through my facebook page. You will be sent a questionnaire for screening, and are asked to fill this out prior to your appointment. This information may change without notice. If so, I will contact you by email. An email has been sent to everyone (with this information) who has had an appointment in the past month. If you did not receive it, please let me know, as I am trialing a new part of my practice management system. I hope to see you once this lockdown is over. 11.01.2022 I hope ou are all well and looking after yourselves. The clinic will be closed this Thursday, 30th July and Friday, 31st July to do some repairs in the treatment room. Appointments are still available for Tuesday and Wednesday. And don't forget, te 10% off all products, and 15% of the Rustic Urban Soap Co. range. These can be delivered (contactless of course) to the local area for a small fee.

03.01.2022 I have just received word from my association, and Chinese Medicine clinics have been advised to shut down.SO it is with a heavy heart, that Serenity Acupuncture & Wellness will be closed as of 11:59pm tonight.My association alongside other allied health associations, are continuing to speak with government officials to clarify if we may continue face-to-face treatments with a referral from the GP.
