Avocado oil is extracted from the stone of the avocado through cold pressing ... It is rich in Vitamins A, C, D and E, Lecithin and Potassium. Avocado oil comes in 2 types. There is refined avocado oil which is light and thin with a minimal aroma and there is unrefined avocado oil which is a dark green colour, thick and has a strong aroma. Avocado oil in either form is a rich, long lasting oil that is easily absorbed in to your skin. It is great for skin cell repair and skin regeneration. This is because the low light that comes from a candle is captured by your sight and sent straight to your brain for processing. Because of our associations with candlelight, the body begins to relax. This helps how we feel emotionally and physically.... Soy wax candles burns cooler than paraffin wax candles which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle. Soy wax candles are also less likely to trigger allergies. Unlike paraffin wax, soy wax is biodegradable and is easily cleaned up. Soy wax also burns a lot cleaner than paraffin wax. 08.01.2022 ? When I graduated from my Internationally Accredited Beauty Therapy course, I knew I wanted to create my own line one day. I also knew that I didn’t want to just release any old products into the market it had to be special and unique. I didn’t want to engage a contract manufacturer or purchase pre-made products and slap my own label on it. I wanted to be the one to create the formula and then bring that formulation to life ...on my own. Fast forward to today, where I now hold a degree in Natural Skin Care Formulation. I am also furthering my education with extra studies in Cosmetic Chemistry. Each ingredient is specifically selected to deliver to you the best possible product that I can. ? I create the formula, I hand make the product, I test the product on myself and won’t create a product just for the sake of it. I care and I’m ethical in my ingredient choices. 04.01.2022 Let’s talk sunscreen. We all know we need to apply sunscreen when we go out in to the sun, but did you know that you also need to apply it when it’s not sunny? If you answered No, then keep reading. If you answered Yes, then keep reading. Harmful UV rays are present regardless of the weather. You are always being exposed to them.... Did you know that even when it’s overcast, up to 80% of the sun’s rays can still affect your skin? Yep - that’s right, up to 80%! So don’t be fooled that because it’s not sunny, you don’t need to apply sunscreen. So even if you venture outside for 10 minutes (less for those of us with pale skin), then you need to be applying skin and protecting it. You can easily include sunscreen into your day without having to add extra steps into your skin care routine. How? I hear you ask! It can be as simple as using a tinted sunscreen or a foundation that already has a sunscreen added to it. Don’t forget the rest of your body either. Have you ever noticed how some people’s hands look dry and wrinkly? Most people tend to forget the back of the hands. Your hands are exposed to UV rays more than any other part of your body. Think about when you are driving for example.
