The salon will be closed from Friday 25th December 2020, and reopen Tuesday 12 January 2021 after a well earned Christmas break. ... 18.01.2022 Its is with a heavy heart that we have made the heartbreaking decision to close our doors as of 8pm tonight. Due to new government restrictions, it has made it almost impossible for us to operate.. We are unsure of the length of closure at this stage but we will keep everyone updated and be in contact with all clients with future appointments. ... The most important thing for us at the moment is the health and safety of eachother, our loved ones, families, clients and the community. Stay safe everyone Together we will get through this. 14.01.2022 EDIT- GOOD NEWS! We have just been made aware that hairdressers at this stage are able to continue business as normal for now! Things for our industry can change quickly so we will update you of any changes if they come. We thank those of you that were able to bring your appointment forward at such late notice. To our Clients, As we all know, this has been a crazy time for everyone and now due to the coronavirus, its looking like all non essential businesses in NSW will... be forced to shut from midday on Tuesday. We have just opened all of tomorrow ( Monday ) and moving as many clients in as possible. If you have an appointment with us this week- we will be in contact with you shortly. We want to thank everyone for their understanding at this difficult time and we will do our best to accommodate you all with future appointments. 13.01.2022 As one door closes, another door opens! Today we are saying goodbye to Serenity Hair Adelong & to a 6 year partnership for Chelsea and Kelly as co. owners of their much loved salon. Although Serenity will be no longer, Chelsea is super excited to announce that she is taking over full ownership and will be trading as Hair by Chelsea & co. From 1st July 2020! ... You may notice a few exciting changes happening throughout the salon in the upcoming months, as well as our name change and new branding, but our team of hair stylists will still remain the same with Chelsea, Kelly & Rachel there to cater for all your hair needs! Kelly will be available for appointments Thursdays and Saturdays, with Chelsea & Rachel available Tuesdays through to Saturday. We look forward to sharing our new journey with you all!!

Our December appointments are already starting to fill up, especially on Saturdays and our late nights- so we encourage all clients to pre book their appointments to avoid disappointment. We still are following COVID restrictions which means we can only allow so many clients per person in the salon at one time, so this also... limits what we can fit in appointment wise unfortunately- and these restrictions will more than likely still in place up until Christmas. Kelly will also start her maternity leave in early November so any clients wanting to see her before then- please book as soon as possible as her appointments are extremely limited. We have put some strict guidelines in place to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients. ... * A limit of 1 client per staff member at any time. * A limit of 2 staff members to be working at any time. * No plus ones- please come to your appointment on your own. * No walk-ins- pre booked appointments only. * If your feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment. * All magazines will be put away- please bring your own book. * Disposable cups will replace our coffee cups, or you can bring your own travel mug. * Sanitise hands on arrival. * Practice social distancing where you can during your visit. Note- Clients with appointments that had to be cancelled due to closure will be contacted and offered our first available appointments. Please bare with us when booking, with limiting our hours and days your ideal appointment time may not be available. We also want to stress that we will only be taking on essential appointments. This means routine or pre booked appointments, grey coverage, regrowth touch ups and haircuts. This will limit the time you spend in our chair and get you in and out quicker meaning less hairdresser to client contact. With active fires still in our area & two of our girls out of their homes due road closures, fire damage, power and water outages and lack of phone reception, we thought this would be our best option....
