11.01.2022 The Self-Care Journey includes many aspects and directions. Mine continues to expand... This is a good read from Bradley Wilson, AOK Health. A wonderful and much appreciated Christmas Gift. After two years of sucesses, I am about to ramp up my KETO Lifestyle for good. Being off KETO eating wheat and sugar for a few months in 2020 proved to me how badly those two ingredients alone negatively impact my overall health and wellbeing.... Fully back on KETO for a few weeks, the undeniable results I am experiencing were instant and are extraordinary. It is such a relief to be inflammation free. For me eating wheat and sugar is just another form of self-harm. I am done with hurting myself in any way, shape or form. My GP is stunned at the changes in my bloods since September 2018. She says pathology tests show I am metabolically younger with almost perfect organ function. My digestive system works far better daily. No more internal bleeding or severe food cravings. My body loves natural fats, protiens, green food, chocolate and berries. Setting boundaries, sticking up for myself assertively, saying NO, releasing myself from negative and toxic relationships as part of my ongoing self-care routines have also had a huge impact on bringing peace to my life. It is so good not having other people's shitty behaviour messing with my head, heart and nervous system. Mobility improvements in my joints make it easier to move and exercise allowing me to strengthen my body as I age towards sixty. My hyperflexive, damaged joints are again noticeably almost pain free. Since January 2019 I am 3+ dress sizes smaller, sleeping better with far fewer PTSD nightmares, my eyes are brighter, my skin is clearer and glowing. Other than my necessary thyroid meds am I four months prescription drug free. That is such a blessed relief as they were highly toxic drugs that were causing all sorts of issues including insatiable hunger, weight gain, inflammation and pain, unexplainable falls, low blood pressure and dangerous body temperature issues putting me at risk of sudden onset hypothermia. So back to reading, learning, implementing and integrating KETO into my life. If it is to be it is up to me
