14.01.2022 Who is Pascoe Vale's new president? Why is there so much secrecy behind money in futsal? Should teams put their attention on creating a 'club'? Is there a lack ...of professionalism within the SFV? What does Jimmy's proposed restructure of the leagues entail? All of this and more on this weeks Series Futsal Scope.

08.01.2022 Press release Futsal Oz - BRUNSWICK FUTSAL STADIUM Dear all members, We are pleased to announce that Futsal OZ has come to an agreement with our Brunswick Stadi...um landlord. As a result, the Brunswick Futsal Stadium will re-open for operations as soon as the Victorian Governments Chief Health Officer gives indoor sports competitions the go ahead. We would like to thank the Landlord and the team at Maspia Property for working closely with Futsal OZ to deliver a positive result during a most difficult time. The impact Futsal Oz, and in particular the Brunswick Futsal Stadium has had on the community’s well-being and physical health was truly felt from the overwhelming support we have received. Although indoor sports competitions do not have a roadmap as yet, we remain positive that Futsal Oz Brunswick will be ready for individual training and competitions. We would like to thank the entire community, the love and support we have received both publicly and privately has been truly remarkable. You have kept us going and encouraged us to keep the faith. We plan to open with restrictions for fitness and individual training in mid November and will release our plan in the coming days. We look forward to seeing you all back on the Brunswick Futsal court kicking goals together. Peter Parthimos Futsal Oz

08.01.2022 Game 2 from the 2018 Series Futsal Australia take on a tournament favorite in Bulimba Bears Futsal Club and after trailing 2-0 for the majority of the encounter a late ten meter penalty converted by Sarah Richardson was enough for us to snatch a point and remain unbeaten after two games.

06.01.2022 We take a look back at our successful run to our first Series Futsal Australia title in Adelaide back in 2017. The tournament did not get off to the best of starts as a sluggish opening game saw us fall to four time champions Cambio Cumbre Futsal Club

05.01.2022 Dear all members, We are writing to inform you of the following direction Futsal Oz has been forced to take. As a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Futsal Oz ...has been closed without any activity in trade since the 18th of March 2020. The Indoor sports sector has been significantly affected by the pandemic including our brand Futsal Oz. The good will has been directly damaged and the future investment through licensing and franchising under these current Government restrictions moving forward are unclear. Whilst the stadiums are not trading, the business continues to incur significant expense in the leasing of the stadiums, outgoings and overheads associated with the business. Under the current environment of no trade these costs are unsustainable. With no plan and no vision for businesses in Melbourne, it has become impossible to forecast and operate. Unfortunately drastic measures must be taken to preserve and protect the integrity and intellectual property generated over the fifteen years of our existence. Negotiations between our landlords during this time of emergency have not provided us with a feasible way to move ahead. These are unprecedented times, in order to survive long term, we must take swift and decisive action now. As a result, Futsal Oz will wind down its operations and close down the Thomastown, Brunswick and Mt Evelyn stadiums. We would like to take this moment to thank all the beautiful people that have shared the space and have spread the joy, the love and the happiness over this amazing chapter. We have impacted lives in positive ways and we look forward to making a bigger impact in the future. We did our best Peter Parthimos Futsal Oz
