Interview of Dida Diafat: journalist: When you were in Thailand, you had a great meeting, you met the star of Jean-Claude Vandam. How did this meeting go? Dida Diafat: Just. We were there in Lumpini, watching the battles. He spoke French, I spoke French. I told him: What are you doing here?, He said: I'm here at the cinema, and you?. I said: I am for boxing. After that, he suggested that I go and eat together. We left the stadium, and we were go in a small restaurant opposite Lumpini, then we became buddies , here we are ... journalist: Did you show him Bangkok later? Dida Diafat: He already knew Thailand journalist: Did you take him to Sor Thanikul Gym, because in the Kickboxer(1989) movie we see the scene taking place in that Gym? Dida Diafat: Quite right, bravo. When he is going to train against Tong Po, he goes to Gym and that is Sor Thanikul Gym!
