20.05.2022 Hey gang. While we try to get back to fully staffed we have decided to close Wednesdays so we can remain open fully on the other days of the week. Cheers all.

16.05.2022 And continuing our ongoing theme of employer shortage, we will not be opening the cafe tomorrow (WED 4th). We do however, have enough friendly staff to keep our shop open all day. So drop on in and grab those gift boxes for Mum this weekend.

10.05.2022 Hi again. Due to staff issues we will not have the cafe open tomorrow (Wednesday 27th). Our retail shop will be open as usual & you can still purchase cold drinks from the fridge. Thank you for your continued understanding.

22.01.2022 Jaffles are finished for the year but for the warmer weather we have rustic ham rolls. Also a heads up to everyone that we are open normal hours across the Grand Final long weekend.

20.01.2022 Okay everyone (not you Melbourne) while the city is still in lockdown come out and enjoy Australia's best hot chocolate, especially while the weather is still cool. Our cafe is open at 10 am again. You will also see it is looking a little sleeker with its new blinds. Thats right, no more torn tattered plastic blowing in the wind. So come on in (but not you Melbourne)

19.01.2022 Hey all, this Wednesday the 16th the Chocolate Mill will be closing at 1pm for our staff Christmas party. So if you are coming on Wednesday be early. That's 1PM SHARP CLOSING TIME! Sorry for any inconvenience to anyone but we wanna get festive. cheers.

13.01.2022 Just a heads up to our chocoholics. We have new cafe closing hours beginning this Wednesday and continuing till last day of January. We will be closing the Cafe at 3:30pm instead of 4:30pm on weekdays only due to the warmer weather. Retail shop will stay open as normal, till 4:45pm. Hope that's clear. Cafe is closing at 3:30pm on WEEKDAYS ONLY, NOT WEEKENDS AND RETAIL STORE WILL REMAIN OPEN AS USUAL TILL 4;45pm Will update cover page and online store hours as well. Cheers.

12.01.2022 Okay gang here's the thing.....when I changed our Cafe closing times to 3:30pm I did it because I thought we would have a hot Summer but it looks like we are going to have a mild one this year. It also looks like we are going to be busier than usual with everyone making the most of their freedom to get out. So that means I'm changing our Cafe times back to the usual hours of 4:30pm closing. I don't think many people noticed anyway cause who reads these posts?

10.01.2022 We are buzzing again! It's a perfect Spring day and our jaffles are racing out the door. Our choc dipped aniseed rings have also made a welcome return to celebrate our freedom. Feels good doesn't it! Hang in there Melbourne, you'll get your chance soon but in the meantime it's the perfect chance for regional folk to visit places they may never have before. So come see what all the fuss is about before Melbourne is let loose again.

10.01.2022 We had a flurry of snow yesterday that delighted our customers. Looks like Winter wants to give us one last hug before she goes. Perfect weather to hug a large mug of hot chocolate and enjoy a jaffle.

04.01.2022 All the staff at The Chocolate Mill want to wish all our customers a safe and joyful Christmas. We also want to tell you we will be closing at 3pm this Thursday with the Cafe closing at 2:30pm. We will be closed Christmas day and Boxing day and reopening on Sunday the 27th.
