15.01.2022 Today the Eaglehawk fireys came for their annual afternoon of fun! Great day lots of laughs! A few of the guys promised to follow us on Facebook now and come up now and then to see us. Would be great. Even Eli has been invited to go down to the MCG on day with Rick the head honcho and meet the Roos with his annual VIP membership! He's excited! I have to go along and pretend to be interested !! Great day and thanks to everyone who gives themselves to the SES CFA etc. Small towns need you.

14.01.2022 I just met the loveliest couple! Beverley and Graham Fordham passed through to look at the pub because Graham`s brother, Bill had the pub in the 60`s. Unfortunately Bill passed away on Tuesday but he sounded like an interesting man. He played for the footy/netball club along with his wife. And while he had the Serp. Hotel, his brother Ted was playing VFL for Essendon! Ted kicked 7 goals in the 1965 grand final! Beverley and Graham visited with their little dog, Jack!

10.01.2022 Specials this week are roast lamb with vegies, gravy and mint jelly, artichoke and caramelized onion risotto and the third dish is a yellow Thai lime and fish curry with rice and condiments. If you like fish and you like curry; trust me, it`s yummo! A lot of people are hesitant to try a fish curry but they are really light and fresh!!!!

09.01.2022 So....... this morning Bec got MORE wigs in the mail! You`d be amazed at how many blokes: mainly shearers enjoy putting them on! Toby thinks we are a bit crazy!

02.01.2022 Tonight`s specials are a good old fashioned corned beef with white sauce and mashed spuds, cheesy kransky sausages with a warm sauerkraut, baked persimmon and crushed potatoes and Pasta with a tomato, honeyed ham and caramelized onion sauce with an obscene amount of parmesan!
