14.01.2022 Couple of photos of the front bar - going going gone!

13.01.2022 We are going to restore the front of the building to back to brick - here's a test patch - think it will look great.

11.01.2022 No doubt most would have seen the work undertaken outside this week - Bricks and Mortar Restoration have paint stripped the acrylic texture coat from the facade of the tavern. We have the opposite problem inside - the paint is falling off the walls - poor preparation is the culprit here. Old buildings you've got to love them.

07.01.2022 Big thanks to Wendy at the Shire office and Lisa from the Mundijong Library - we have another photo of the tavern. The photo is at the State Library and a high res copy has to be ordered - but for now here is a low res scan of the original - with a little Christmas cheer added - Merry Christmas Serpentine.

02.01.2022 Thanks to all that have liked our page. Have managed to find a couple of older photos of the Tavern. The first was on the inherit website. Thinking that it is from the late 1960s to early 1970s going on the car in the photo. No clutter on the roof and 3 original chimneys - all gone now - shame. The second photo was found by a lovely lady at Mundijong library - thank you Lisa.... If anyone has any old photos of the tavern from early 1900s to 1970s - post them up - we would love to see them.
