11.01.2022 Good morning families, last night on Channel 7's Flashpoint, there was discussion about cyber safety and the issues that can arise from children using social media and online gaming sites. For anyone who missed it but is interested, here is the link for the episode. https://7plus.com.au/flashpoint?episode-id=FLAS02-027 They discussed an app called Beacon, which allows parents to access guides to specific online games and social media sites to enable you to make informed deci...sions about whether or not your child should be using them. There is a huge amount of information on there, as well as the ability to add your family information (children ages) to give you advice on what apps are suitable for you. There are also tips for supporting your child with online use and links to services to support you and your family. https://beacon.telethonkids.org.au/ See more

09.01.2022 Week 7 already - where is this term going?!! A couple of events happening this week: 1. Father's Day stall on Thursday - If you would like your child to purchase something from the stall, please send some money in with them on Thursday. For the younger kids it is a good idea to put money in a zip lock bag with their name on it. 2. Faction Carnival - We are all looking forward to the faction carnival on Friday and hoping for some lovely weather. Parents are welcome and the coffee van will be here! The P&C are doing a cake stall so if you are able to donate something, please drop it into the canteen on Thursday afternoon or bring it along on Friday morning. Due to covid-19 restrictions, the P&C ask that all food items be individually wrapped (into portions to be sold). Thanks and hope you have a great week!
