23.01.2022 You should have seen our Kindy kids having such a ball in our revamped kindy creek bed yesterday! It did my heart good to watch the fun they were having. Needless to say, we had lots of wet but very happy children who thankfully had spare clothes to change into PS We still have spots available for Kindy 2021. Give the Kindy a call on 9841 1864.

Call the Kindy on 9841 1864, sms 0438 085 249 or email [email protected] Some things about our kindy: - no zoning, all are welcome ... - children must turn 4 by June 30, 2021 - play based learning - the children come 3 days one week, 2 days the next -Green Group: Mondays, Thursdays, alternate Wednesday - Blue Group: Tuesdays, Fridays, alternate Wednesdays - voluntary fee $60 for the year - programs use WA Kindy Curriculum guidelines & Early Years Learning Framework - staff are employed by the Education Department - the Principal of our linked school oversees the teaching & learning Call by for a look around and a chat with the Teacher-in-Charge, Karen Marshall. Staff are on site from 8:00am - 3:30pm but can meet with you outside those hours for a tour of the Kindy.

19.01.2022 ENROLMENTS for 2021: We have 2 more weeks to get all enrolment forms & required documents in. We still need a few more children to ensure that we can run 2 groups next year. If we need to, we can apply to the Education Department for a time extension to give us a bit more time to get the required number. The Department usually ask us to have 32 to run two groups. 19.01.2022 BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE FUNDRAISER- THIS SATURDAY! 8:00am-4:00pm. Please join us and support our beautiful Kindy Hope to see you there! N.B. 18.01.2022 Look at the fun some of our boys had today making wonderful rivers and driving trucks along the riverbanks. Such a great day and so much learning going on in a play-based, hands-on way! (We also had Book Week dress up day today. All the children had a fantastic go at drawing themselves dressed as a favourite book character. Ill post some drawings soon .)

14.01.2022 WE STILL HAVE SOME SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR NEXT YEAR! Jump in quick! Some of the things we did at Kindy today: * Singing - we learnt a new song called Tiger Tiger * Dancing - we had fun doing the Baby Shark dance... * We counted (and jumped, skipped, clapped, stomped)as we counted. We got all the way to 88 today before Mrs Moon said stop. We helped Mrs Marshall work out how to write that number on the whiteboard * We helped find 88 on our big number chart * We matched numbers to objects * We reviewed the a sound and learnt how to write the lower case a * We played with play dough, mobilo, magnetic tiles and much much more * We enjoyed the fine weather and had so much fun with our friends outside See more

13.01.2022 THANK YOU!! A BIG BIG THANK YOU to all our wonderful parents who were able to help at Saturday’s BUSY BEE. We are so thrilled by everything you achieved for our beautiful Kindy: - we can see our CREEK BED and STEPPING STONES again. Over the last few years they’ve gradually disappeared under sand and grass ... - our bike track sand pit can now stay inside the sandpit rather than finding its way out onto the bike track - our lattice work in the mud kitchen has been painted and looks brilliant - our antique boat sandpit garden is ready to go again (we’ll add some beautiful plants very soon) - our Nature Playground has been oiled to keep it looking good for months to come - our picnic table’s been repainted, bushes pruned, garden weeded and more Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our Kindy kids are going to love it!

09.01.2022 We wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came along or helped out in any way at our OPEN DAY yesterday It was a wonderful day! Jamie the Clown was brilliant as usual - such a clever man!... Lovelin from Ellesie Dots n Swirls did a really beautiful job with the face painting - we'll definitely try to hire her again next year. Our sausage sizzle and cake stall went really well - lovely smells wafting through the kindy & yummy looking treats to buy always goes down so well. Sue Wilson (our kindy Patron) set up a "Win $50" board which brought in approx $186 profit for the Kindy. Such a great idea!(Sue donated the $50 prize) Chris from Quick Shot Coffee came at 10:30 for approx 1/2 hour and many people took advantage of a lovely hot cuppa. We have definitely picked up some more enrolments for 2021 from yesterday (not sure exactly how many as yet) and I have even started an 'Expressions of Interest' list for 2022 :) Enjoy the rest of this beautiful sunny day and THANK YOU again! 02.01.2022 Guess what we have at Kindy for the next few weeks? An incubator - yay!! In approx 21 days we will hopefully see some baby chickens breaking out of their eggs. The children (and staff) are so excited!! Big thank you again to Decoda and her family for organising this adventure for us
