25.01.2022 A very successful day by far. Finished a massive restoration of 2 Sharp Radio Cassette Record boom box's. Even required 3D print of new slider swithes. Very happy with the result. I know they will last a good number of years to come. Also finished some big repairs on the Seeburg Q200. I'm feeling accomplished.

19.01.2022 Spending analogue time with my record player, and thought I'd throw up some digital pictures of the Stanton cartridge and stylus.

17.01.2022 My Seeburg V200, from the outside ;)

15.01.2022 Stanton Cartridge.

10.01.2022 Working on a Seeburg Q170 jukebox. Midrange speaker is testing ok but no sound heard. Will be opening the Crossover unit. Expecting to find a Capacitor network failure. Not common but the physical materials it is built from breakdown as well as the catastrophic electrical meltdowns they are prone to.

09.01.2022 Some work ahead of me. The chrome one is my creation. Look like I had a crush on HMV record players.

02.01.2022 Teac X-R7 The Mic pot was sheared off, missing the knob and the right-hand tension screw. All that didn't worry me too much. It did have the dried grease problem with the capstan pull in mech which I used to push up to get it started. Needless to say if it auto reversed and I wasn't there to push the capstan up it would just pull the tape through without engaging against the heads. I bought a new pot for the mic control so it was time to pull it down, fit the new pot and clean up the capstan mech. Found a number of other problems too. The left hand motor was loose. Not the attachment but the actual motor assembly. It was an all day job but it's up and running in top condition. Just waiting on the replacement knob and tension roller screw to turn up in the post and it will finally be complete.
