22.01.2022 We've come to know of a family doing it tough over the past few weeks. Mother and wife Lisa began struggling with rent when her husband severely injured himself and since hasn't been able to work. She runs and looks after a family of 3 children and once we found out the news we couldn't turn our backs without doing something for her. Today, with the help of many donations, we were able to assist with some grocery's. Lisa was extremely overwhelmed. It was so priceless seeing t...he look on her face. Walk with Christ are honoured to be able to help families during their time of need but we can't do it without your support. 18.01.2022 NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS TREE! We came across this original Christmas Tree during Saturdays homeless feed at Wentworth Park. It was handed to a women whom we've come to know over the past few months, sleeping in one of the tents. Standing as a bare tree without any ornaments, she decided to decorate it with a number of different items she could get her hands on. Some of the items include: plastic forks, beer bottles, pegs, tea bags and empty soft drink cans. She wanted us to add a piece to it too, so we hung up a Jesus/Mary prayer card. It put a smile on our faces. Couldn't help but share :) Hopefully council doesn't come around and take it down well at least not before Christmas.

14.01.2022 Living a normal life to becoming homeless We first met Ariana at Belmore park in 2015 visiting the father (ex partner) of her 2 children who was going through depression for sometime. Months later, Arianas life took a turn for the worst. We were surprised to find her living in the same situation as her ex partner. Lucky enough her 2 children are well looked after by her mother which she hasn't seen in months. We spent sometime talking to Ariana and she left us feeling inspir...ed by her positive attitude and giving nature despite her personal conflict with depression and anxiety. We believe God puts people in your path for a reason. In the next coming weeks we would love to see her take a visit to her mums to see the kids. Please keep Ariana in your prayers. 03.01.2022 Always willing to help out thank you Works of Mercy Mark S. Di Perta enjoyed having you take a trip with us to one of the families in need over the weekend. Works of Mercy were generous enough to donate brand new pillows and doonas to a family in need during these cold winter months.
