22.01.2022 Caloundra members teamed up with other members from the Sunshine Coast and Noosa, on Sunday, for a day out on the floodboats. Floodboat members were keeping their competency up to date, while other members were encouraged to 'give it a go'. A great day out

14.01.2022 SES Week kicks off on Saturday the 12th of October in Queensland and shines the spotlight on the spirit of our volunteers. Queenslanders will be given the chanc...e to learn more about the State Emergency Service (SES) and recognise the efforts of its members in their local communities. Running through to the 20th of October, it is a week of community education, engagement and celebration. The annual event is an opportunity to honour the hard work our volunteers tirelesslycontinue to give and celebrate the outstanding efforts of State Emergency Service’s members across our fine state. It takes a certain kind of person to be a SES volunteer, says Acting Commissioner Mike Wassing AFSM. He adds that these brave individuals must be willing to dedicate time to training as well as help strangers in need and respond to emergencies at any time of the day and night. It truly is our moto and we are proud to continue to give to our local communities rain, hail or shine!

11.01.2022 We are ready...are you? Last night Caloundra SES Group members were hard at work checking/preparing sandbags, vehicles and equipment for the upcoming storm season. Our floodboat team were also hard at work, being informed on recent changes prior to attending a floodboat day on the weekend
