18.01.2022 Please remember to take extra care on the roads following last nights strong winds It has been a busy 24 hours for the SES Castlemaine volunteers. Calls included a home loosing its roof, 6 cars and 2 caravans damaged by fallen trees plus several calls to remove trees blocking roads and driveways.

18.01.2022 Late last night Castlemaine SES were called to a serious accident in Campbells Creek. A local man was extracted from the vehicle and flown to the Alfred Hospital. This is the second serious road accident Castlemaine SES has attended in two weeks. Both involved locals. ... It has been a tough year. 01.01.2022 Castlemaine SES, CFA, Police and Ambulance were called to an incident in Lyttleton Street this afternoon after a vehicle collided with the Cumberland Hotel. First Aid was rendered by local pharmacists prior to the Ambulance arriving.
