24.01.2022 SETCH Design were given the task to design, detail and RPEQ certify 4 x complex pump access platforms. Each of the 4 x locations requiring a platform were Laser Scanned to ensure enough detail was collected so that a custom platform could be designed, detailed and fabricated that would provide adequate accessibility to the pumps. 23.01.2022 SETCH Design recently completed a site laser scanning trip. A total of 350 scans were required to achieve complete coverage of the areas of interest for future design works. The point cloud was aligned to site datum and delivered in a variety of formats as requested by the client.

20.01.2022 SETCH Design spent some time in Charters Towers last week. The job was to scan and capture detail on an entire plant. Underground pipework in pits made it necessary to break out the new tripod!

12.01.2022 SETCH Design completed a 3D Laser Survey of a Stack to ensure compliance with values specified by the client. The point cloud data captured was analysed using both 3DReshaper software package with Tank Module and manually using AutoCAD. 08.01.2022 SETCH Design routinely visit a site to perform Laser Scanning. Once the data is captured, we then utilise it to provide engineering design, detail and drafting services.
