23.01.2022 Good morning all for SEVA.

23.01.2022 Having the privilege of designing and building a range of emergency and specialised vehicles is uniquely satisfying. However, few things are not quite as satisfying as managing to peel the protection film from an entire stainless steel bench top in one piece, just ask Hayley!

20.01.2022 To anyone visiting our facility, Hayley is the smiling face of SEVA, Hayley’s role at SEVA in reception also includes running our social media whilst assisting in marketing, administration, payroll and HR. Previously having worked in hospitality, Hayley was seeking a new challenge and change. This is Hayley’s first experience as a receptionist, a role she has taken on enthusiastically. This evolution and growth of her position has been supported by Hayley’s completion and ong...oing enrolment in related business and HR management courses. Some of the aspects of being employed by SEVA that Hayley enjoys include; a great team, supportive management and indulging her interest in photography through media content and creation. Hayley’s peers describe her as friendly, courteous, approachable, helpful and humble. Outside of work, Hayley is a busy mum of two. In her down time she enjoys beach days and everything nature has to offer. See more

20.01.2022 We would like introduce Andrew Saunders one of SEVA's Technical Coordinators. Andrew was born with a wrench in his hand and was always destined for our industry. Over the last 14 years, Andrew has gained a broad range of hands on experience, firstly as a light vehicle mechanic, then motor body builder and auto-electrical technician, picking up a range of trade certifications along the way. Andrew leads a team of technicians in our busy workshop, overseeing and coordinating a...ll of our vehicle builds. Running the workshop with a cool and calm demeanour, Andrew is in the workshop before dawn preparing for the day ahead and amongst the last to walk out the doors in the afternoon. Professionally, Andrew enjoys being constantly challenged, ideally with bespoke and unique vehicle builds. He also enjoys tackling complicated diagnostics and repairs, confronting difficult problems generating creative functional solutions. Outside of work, Andrew likes to indulge in side hustles, talk about real estate and advise everyone of his athletic excellence. He is an avid follower of sports, following anything that has wheels, getting to as many AFL games as he can and coaching his sons soccer team.

17.01.2022 Our very own Mel is currently participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise funds to help fight kids cancer. Mel’s original goal was to cycle 300km in the month of October. We all know how much she loves a good challenge so with that in mind she now has an even bigger goal to reach. She will attempt to get to 500km instead of the original 300km in the next ten days. Pressures on Mel SEVA is going to match whatever the proceeds Mel raises in order to support those in need and to cheer Mel for such an outstanding achievement. https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/MelindaTreversh

12.01.2022 Here at SEVA we do all we can to ensure that the quality and durability of the base vehicles we convert remains unchanged. To meet this requirement, we design and manufacture all of our components to the same high standards as the original vehicle manufacturers

11.01.2022 SEVA would like to introduce you to our store's superstar Mel. Currently transitioning to heading up our stores division, Mel has spent the last 3 years keeping the workshop supplied with the parts they require for our builds. Originally starting life in Maryborough, Mel has bounced around the world before she landed with SEVA, already possessing automotive industry exposure and bringing with her abundant experience in warehousing and retail roles. Mel’s days are filled with... managing the incoming and outgoing stock for our vehicle builds, supplying the technicians for additional items as required, chasing around town picking up parts, carrying out forklift duties and stock taking. In Mel’s time with SEVA she has come to enjoy the hands on, mobile and ever evolving nature of her work. She also appreciates the high level of team camaraderie, her role giving her ample opportunities to socialise and banter with co-workers whilst sharing a few jokes. Mels peers describe here as; Bubbly, chatty, social, energetic, helpful, dedicated, passionate and organised. She always brings light and laughter to her workmates day. Outside of work Mel is an obsessive supporter of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and spends every waking moment talking about them or attempting to convert others to support them. She is also an avid and experienced practitioner of her Magic 8 Ball, relentlessly consulting it in regard to Rabbitohs and life matters, feeling the need to continually update us all about it. Mel enjoys travelling, having lived several times for long periods overseas, but is particularly fascinated with hanging off Bintangs whilst holidaying in Bali. Mel can also be found constantly pursing fitness endeavours, running several times a week, cycling on weekends. Currently Mel is participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight children’s cancer. The link to support her in this quest can be found here; https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/MelindaTreversh

04.01.2022 SEVA would like to share with you all how proud we are of Mel and her efforts with her charity ride. She pushed herself so much further and completed the extra 200km in a couple of days so SEVA would match the donations raised. It was definitely an extra challenge on top of the goal she had already set herself but we knew Mel could do it. Mel completed a total of 501.2 km riding and raised $1403.82. What an amazing achievement Mel, well done.

04.01.2022 SEVA recently completed the build of another pair of mobile training units, as part of a large project for NSW TAFE. These vehicles will travel around regional NSW providing onsite vocational training to people wishing to work in the refreshment service industry. These vehicles will be making regular appearances at shows and festivals around NSW providing on the job training. Why not treat yourself to a nice cappuccino and admire the fruits of our hard work?
