20.01.2022 I have recently been inundated with requests for family photos and weddings. I had never seriously considered this aspect of photography, but I believe it is time I branched out, and took my photography to a new level...I love my rural photography and this page (Seven Stones) will continue to be a place where I continue to show my love of the Aussie Bush. But for my new ventures I have decided to set up a new page and a new website for my family and wedding photography, a ne...w brand and a new look. I hope anyone who is interested might follow me over there...please take a look and drop me a line if you think I might have a style of photography that could capture images and memories of your family or your wedding day. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement for this new venture. Cheers, Lisa https://www.facebook.com/lisaweberphotographer http://lisaweberphotographer.zenfolio.com/

19.01.2022 "Bush all round bush with no horizon, for the country is flat. No ranges in the distance. The bush consists of stunted, rotten native apple-trees. No undergrowth. Nothing to relieve the eye save the darker green of a few she-oaks which are sighing above the narrow, almost waterless creek. Nineteen miles to the nearest sign of civilization a shanty on the main road." - The Drovers Wife by Henry Lawson.

18.01.2022 A canvas and framed print sold this week from my display at Ballimore Inn...most of my images on this page are for sale through my website as prints, canvas or acrylic...love knowing my work will be under someone's Christmas tree this year #happy #uniqueoutbackart http://sevenstonesphotographybylisaweber.zenfolio.com/

16.01.2022 I do dreadfully neglect this page, as I am so busy over at my other page where my weddings, maternity and portrait work are keeping me busy and fed LOL https://www.facebook.com/lisaweberphotographer/. But I did find this one I thought I could share here...it was taken at Christmas 2015. We were going to check yabby pots, the sheep thought they were going to get fed.

16.01.2022 Environmental portraits are my passion. I took this a year ago of a great mate and a great shearer...thanks 'Boof' :)

14.01.2022 I do love looking back over some older pics... this was such a lucky afternoon back in January - drovers moving cattle along the road just outside of my in-laws property. Always an amazing sight; the stock, the dust, the horses....and the flies ;)

12.01.2022 I could watch these working dogs all day. Strong, agile, fearless and fast...

11.01.2022 It's amazing what can be found in old abandoned buildings and huts on farms. This old hut was part of the Bullock trail in the Walgett Carinda area...the stories these walls could tell.

11.01.2022 Skies have been a little stormy in my world...and life feels very broken.

10.01.2022 One of my favourite photos...hubby spent a few months droving 600 head of cattle and living on the side of the road. Me and our girls joined him every weekend (well 4 day weekend) for a few months and lived the drovers life. What an experience - I loved every minute of it. No TV, limited phone reception, campfires, camp oven dinners, tea on the billy, sleeping under the stars and cattle bellowing - and then there was this little white calf...

09.01.2022 Happy New Year!! Sorry things are very slow around here...my ancient computer finally died and I am desperately trying to sort something out....uuuggghhh. Wish Santa could have had more foresight ;)

08.01.2022 One of my all time favourite portraits...lovely Lilah. I remember this afternoon like it was yesterday...she had me in stitches... this post went a little viral :) "You've lived in this town all your life?" "Yes, all my life.." "Well what is it you love about living here?"... "Not a bloody thing!" "Oh... righto, so have you ever considered living somewhere else?" "No never." - Lilah See more

08.01.2022 Had a great afternoon at the Ballimore Inn Annual Camp Oven Cook Off

06.01.2022 OK so it's not technically a bush pic but rather a pic from a zoo in the bush, and an image I love...

05.01.2022 I met the nicest group of bikies on the weekend at our local pub...riding for our local childrens ward...a charity very close to my heart

05.01.2022 I have to apologise for neglecting this page lately... I have suddenly become very busy doing weddings and family shoots where I have another page that is taking up my time...but we are heading out to our farm for Easter so hopefully I can share a some of our beautiful yet drought ridden rural Australia :)

03.01.2022 I love a sun burnt country...BUT we really need some rain...This photo was taken a couple of months ago near Carinda NSW. The sheep are mustered by quadbike from across a 1,500 acre paddock and brought to water where oats are put out for feed. Old sheep or those with new lambs are often left behind as the distance and the heat is too great.
