23.01.2022 COVID-19 Patient Information To protect our patients and our staff we have made important adjustments to the way we operate to ensure we have a safe environment throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, you will be asked additional questions and strict infection control precautions are in place. If you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms/fever or respiratory symptoms, please stay at home and consult with our doctors via Telehealth consultation first. Your ...doctor will determine whether you need to come in for an examination or if further testing is required. If you are not sure please call reception first. Patient Screening All patients (and other visitors) to the practice are screened before entry. Patients arriving for a face to face consultation MUST call reception before entering the clinic. Social Distancing Important measures in our practice help reduce risk to you and others. No more than two patients in the waiting room at a time, and a maximum of one support person to come with the patient if needed. These measures help keep us all safe, and reduce the risk to you and to us. We understand these are difficult times and we are here to support our patients with bulk billing Telehealth and face to face consultations. Whilst we are a private billing practice, our charges are at the discretion of your doctor and we will do all we can to support you through these extraordinary times. We are here to help, please call us on 07 3914 2188 or book online to arrange a Telehealth consultation with one of our GPs. ** If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 immediately**

19.01.2022 UPDATED CORONAVIRUS ADVICE If you have travelled to China in the past 14 days and have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat or breathlessness, you might have a new type of virus called novel Coronavirus. As the virus can spread easily and quite fast, please avoid contact with other people, do not go into crowded places, and do not take public transport.... The only testing should be in a public health (that is, hospital) setting. To prevent the spread of infection, do not attend your general practice if you have these symptoms. If you are unwell, you can phone your GP, or your nearest emergency department or call the HealthDirect helpline on 1800 022 222 for advice.

09.01.2022 A message from our Psychologist At a time when the new norm is uncertainty and we are facing mounting challenges on a daily basis, taking care of our mental health is of vital importance. People are facing increasing challenges of work uncertainty, isolation, loss of coping strategies, pressure on relationships, coping with children at home and adjusting to the ongoing crisis. Our Psychologist continues to be available for appointments either in person or via Telehealth opti...ons, including Zoom, Skype and telephone. If you are required to isolate or prefer not to come in, you are still able to access mental health care during this trying time. Please just let our friendly reception staff know at the time of making the booking that you will require a Telehealth session and the necessary arrangements will be made. With financial pressures due to job losses and business closures its heartening to know that all Telehealth psychologist appointments are currently bulk billed. For in person appointments, if you have been financially affected by the current crisis please just let our psychologist know at the time of your appointment and suitable arrangements can be made. We will find our way back from this difficult time, but in the interim, its important to know that mental health support is available when it is needed most.
