18.01.2022 Crook Cruise is written and directed by local playwright Carol Cole, who is a favourite with our company. Crook Cruise is a musical comedy about a young couple ...Andy and Steffi who had planned to use this cruise as their honeymoon, but the wedding was called off and this is the last chance for the couple to decide if they are right for each other. Also setting sail on the cruise are a selection of odd characters, some regular "cruisers" and some "first timers". Romance and mystery abound as the passengers meet and mingle. But, where are the crew? The Captain is shouting orders, the entertainment assistant wished she got off at Sydney, the Entertainment officer is clearly distracted yet very proud to present the perfect show. The only person doing any work is Russell, who takes on many roles on this very crook cruise. One minute he is the bar tender, then he is seen tidying the deck, he is the safety officer, maintenance, cleaner, guide to assist lost passengers and so much more. But, what is his story? Is he keeping so busy because he is lonely? And, what about a wager that took place back on dry land? Set sail with Crook Cruises to find out more....... Tickets are available now and are only $15, you can BYO drinks and a plate for a cabaret style show....Come on board....
