25.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that we will be running our seventh annual Sevens by the Sea on the 20th of February 2021. Registrations are now open, so please email your expression of interest to: [email protected]... 2021’s tournament will be a combination of both men’s and ladies teams and we are proud to bring this ever growing event to the Central Coast again! More details to come... get in quick, spots will be filling fast. We will see you at Slade Park Budgewoi in February. Who will be this years champions?!?!?

If all teams pay their entry fee by the due date, the ladies section of our tournament is now FULL!... 08.01.2022 Sevens by the Sea 2021... get in quick! Ladies section of our 2021 tournament is almost full. We are only taking x8 ladies teams this year and spots are almost gone. If you and your club haven’t confirmed your expression of interest via email please do so as soon as possible, as there will be a waitlist for ladies team. ... Men’s spots are also filling up fast, so we encourage you to get it before you miss out. You will hear from us tomorrow via email if you have already expressed your interest previously!

03.01.2022 On behalf of The Lakes Rugby Club, we would like to thank you for being part of the Sixth annual Sevens By The Sea tournament hosted by our club. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the delay, due to the crazy times in getting this to you. This year twelve mens teams and six ladies teams competed on the day. The Lakes Sevens Facebook Page had over 5,600 views and the live stream of the tournament on Bar TV was viewed by over 6,500 people on the day. The tournament hosted ...teams from the Central Coast competition, Newcastle & Hunter Rugby and the Sydney Sub-District competitions. Many thanks to our sponsors for the tournament, Bankwest, Central Coast Shade Sails and CCRU for their contribution & support. Also to all referees and AR’s for their tireless efforts on the day. With the uncertainty surrounding all competitions this year due to Coivid 19, we are looking at the possibility of hosting another sevens tournament possibly mid October if club competitions don’t get to go ahead. This would allow all clubs, players, officials, supporters and sponsors to get their fix of rugby this year. We will keep you posted, otherwise hopefully we will see you all again at our annual 7th Sevens By The Sea in 2021. We encourage you to like this Facebook page to stay up to date with all information about all things "Sevens by the Sea" for our tournament next year or possibly this year if we are lucky enough to get two tournaments in the one year!!! We love our rugby here!
