24.01.2022 Working on finishing projects started. (I started this shirt about 3 years ago) it is a XXXLarge to fit chest measurements 137 - 142 cms. This shirt has been made from a recycled quilt cover . Fabric is a poly cotton.

20.01.2022 The output from the sewing room could possibly increase with the recommendation that we all stay home for an indefinite time. This is a Medium (to fit chest measurements 97 cms to 102 cms) in the Australian Batik Range (alternatively nicknamed the Corona Shirts due to the time of creating!) I should have plenty of stock for Christmas Market with no more Cruise Ship Markets for the foreseeable future.

19.01.2022 Started crocheting squares 2+ years ago and put them aside to sew up later ! Just stopped (machine) sewing over the last 3 weeks to hand sew the squares together - all 441 of them. Done at last! Note to self : next time make the squares larger or better still crochet a corner to corner rug - then no sewing up!

12.01.2022 Just completed 2 more shirts for the SAIL, SURF & SWIM Collection. Hmmm which one shall I keep? The one with the divers (to remind me I still can’t demonstrate a reasonable dive!) or the kids having fun in the water (to remind me of my 40+ year fun career teaching kids to swim )

10.01.2022 RIP Holden Cars! I couldnt resist this fabric when I found it online a few moments after the news announcement that the Holden brand would be discontinued. (Not to mention the green car is the one like my big brother owned and I drove for my licence test many years ago! ) This shirt is a size XL with measurements to fit chest size 117cms to 122cms. 08.01.2022 I havent posted any of my sewing projects for ages! However I have been busy! I located 7 single bed sized, patchwork quilts started 40+ years ago which I have unpicked taken out the seersucker pieces and recut with the aim of making 15 cot size quilts. Didnt finish the originals for my children (now aged in 40s and 50s) didnt finish for grandchildren (now aged all but one in 20s) so now the plan it to finish for the future great grand children! These 2 have just returned from being machine quilted but I also have a puff quilt being made from the seersucker pieces and 2 rag quilts also in progress

06.01.2022 Just completed a Lockdown Rug. Started this one at least a year ago but lost the pattern so just continued with easy granny squares of random colours and random sizes and then sewed them together at random . No good if you suffer OCD.!
