23.01.2022 This sweet little cotton dress started out its life as a doona cover. I added vintage doilies as pockets. #upcyclingfashion #vintagestyle #sunshinecoast #madeinaustralia

23.01.2022 Todays make is another dressing gown. This is an upcyled Laura Ashley doona cover, and the lace was rescued from a vintage wedding dress. These are so much fun to make. #sunshinecoastcollectivemarkets #handmadeexpo #vintage #lauraashley... #lace #upcycling #dressinggown See more

22.01.2022 I have been blown away by the response to my masks. I've just (finally) finished sewing and posting off my first batch. I hope to get a heap more ready to go on sale on the weekend. As well as indigenous prints there will be bright batiks and pretty shabby chic ones. Because if you have a wear mask, you should wear a pretty one . I will also have a few plain fabric masks as i have been asked for them too. #madeinaustralia #masks #indigenous ... #shabbychic See more

18.01.2022 Here is the 3rd face mask post for today. These are the florals. I adore pretty florals and have a vast amount of floral fabrics in my stash...i can keep making floral masks for the foreseeable future, if needed As I've said before - if you have to wear a mask, make sure its a pretty one

17.01.2022 I've just finished a face mask custom order for a little 2 year old girl. They are so cute! I've used a very soft elastic for her tender little ears. You can see how small this mask is compared to an adult size. If you would like children sized masks please contact me. I have sizes from 2 to 12 years of age. #facemasks #buylocal #supportlocal #sunshinecoast ... #madeinaustralia See more

17.01.2022 I have been asked by friends if I was making face masks....yes, I am! These masks are made with quality cotton in indigenous or batik prints. There are 3 layers and include a pocket for a filter if needed, and also have removable wire in the nose bridge. Price is $15 each or $12 each if buying 5 or more. These are well made by a qualified dressmaker....me!! #madeinaustralia #sunshinecoast #facemasks ... #buylocal #covid19 See more

16.01.2022 This post came up on my fb memories this morning. It still brings me a sense of pride and accomplishment . This was my first ever upcycled wedding dress I ever made, 10 years ago. The bodice is made from many different ivory laces bought from op shops and then patchworked onto a new bodice. The skirt was from another wedding dress. The chiffon and bodice lining was the only new fabric I used. I learnt so much in the process and set me on my present course to explore using upcycled garments further .

16.01.2022 This lovely and vibrant dressing gown started life as a doona cover. I'm in love with how this has turned out. #sunshinecoastcollectivemarkets #sunshinecoast #australianmade #vintage ... #upcycle #dressinggown See more
