25.01.2022 What could be better than learning to sew?? Learning to sew clothes for your doll! We had so much fun today, sewing scrubs, cap, mask and gown for our dolls. We didn’t have time to stop... but the dollies got a chance to relax and get pampered by our resident miracle working hairdresser!! They all got treated to a new hairstyle and by the end of the day were dressed and ready for a shift. In honour of our front line workers during this difficult time... we say thank you ... 20.01.2022 Well I'm not going to lie...I just love that I can legitimately play with dolls at my age Our young sewists today were eager to finish their Nurses outfits and dress their dolls in their scrubs. They also had a lot of fun raiding my scrap fabric bin and using their creativity to make blankets, pillows, and other things for their dolls. It's wonderful what ideas they come up with. 11.01.2022 The morning session saw us having fun whilst practising lots of sewing skills like sewing straight lines, curved lines, pivoting and using decorative stitches to make our Tic Tac Toe games. The fun continued in the afternoon where the kids learnt to sew their emoji pillows. This is always such a great workshop. I love how the kids always pick the perfect emoji that fits their personality!
