24.01.2022 Here is the beautiful Haley with her new husband Stewart on their wedding day. I did some shaping alterations on Haleys dress. As well as various alterations across the bridal party. Watch this space for further photos to come of the bridal party alterations.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to the beautiful Connie, who got married on the weekend. Connie wanted to include her brother in the wedding party, however not on the groomsmen side, she wanted him to be her bridesman. To do this I made both the bridesmaid and maid of honour dresses as well as the men's shirt in this picture so the trio would be matching. I have in the past completed a lot of alterations on men's shirts, however this is the first shirt that I have made from scratch. The dresses are a slightly different style at the front to seperate the bridesmaid from the maid of honour, however they are both corset back, which is a great choice when fittings are few and far between, due to bridal party's living interstate etc. corset back can allow a difference of about 2 dress sizes.

22.01.2022 Here are some before and after shots of the beautiful Melissa's wedding dress and her grandmothers veil. Melissa showed me her grandmothers veil which she wanted to wear on her wedding day for sentimental reasons, however the veil had quite a few large rips and a missing comb. I suggested to repair and cover the rips, by replicating the original embroidery that was at the edging of the veil. Due to the age of the veil, this had to be done by hand, including beading and repairing the comb, and the embroidery, this veil took the good part of 40hours, but was a labour of love. I also added the "bling" belt to her wedding dress as well as other minor alterations on the wedding dress.

17.01.2022 Loved making this christening outfit for this little boy. I box up all christening gowns as well as wedding dresses, to ensure they are protected while stored.

15.01.2022 The first picture was sent to me from Sydney, as this young girl needed a dance costume in a hurry, the other pictures are of the finished product. I was able to make this just by the picture and from the measurements of the dancer.

11.01.2022 Here is a before and after shot, of this little miss flower girl dress, as you can see the hem was way too long before. A simple alteration.

10.01.2022 Here are some before and after photos of the beautiful Elly in her bridesmaid dress. As you can see in the before photo the hem was way too long at the front. I hemmed the dress to the correct length, while still keeping the feature on the train at the back. As well as some minor alterations in the torso of the dress. In the group shot, Ellys dress is the one on the left.

09.01.2022 As you can see this cushion was once a silk scarf. This scarf was presented to my client by an Italian mayor in Italy. We only had the one scarf, so only one shot at getting it right for my client. You know your client is happy when they hug you. This cushion is now on its way to her 83year old father who is unable to travel back to his home town in Italy. I hope this cushion brings back some happy memories for him when he sees it. I love my job!!!!
