22.01.2022 Good morning sharks!! John has managed to get an answer regarding the booking system. The sharks will now no longer have to book in the time slots. You will be required to fill in an attendance list and I will give a copy to reception. ... Payment will still be needed for entry at reception. $7 per swim to the club. Please use bank deposit Seymour and district Amateur Swimming Club BSB 063545 ACC 10078252 Please remember the rules stated in the previous post. We need to abide by all rules and regulations that the center put in place. In the water promptly at 6:30pm but no arriving super early for now. I don’t think you’ll be allowed in. Be ready to get in the water ASAP upon arrival. See you all tomorrow

22.01.2022 Today is the day!!!! So excited to get everyone back together again. Training starts at promptly 6:30pm. Diving in the water as the clock strikes 6:30! Finish time for this week is 7:30 Training days are Monday and Wednesday for all squads ... Thursday for gold only - to be confirmed. No dryland this week Only 1 parent per family and parents must scan the QR code when entering the centre. If you don’t know how to do this, you just open your camera and hold it over the code, it will scan it and open a link, you then clink on the link and follow the prompts. Payment to be made for pool entry to staff at reception, payment to the club via bank transfer (see previous post with details) You also need to sign in on the sharks attendance roster, a copy of which we will also be supplying the centre. This will be with me so as to not create more congestion at reception. Seats are not to be moved, they are marked and placed there by the centre so please leave them alone. Masks are to be worn unless in the water. Paper masks are easier to breathe through in the warm environment. Absolutely no one is to attend training if themselves or a family member is feeling unwell or showing any symptoms and will be required to get tested before returning to training. This is for the safety of everyone, and to ensure the pool stays open and we can keep training. This is the most important rule so please adhere to it. When using facilities, hands must be washed THROUGHLY. I will also supply hand sanitizer on pool deck. We will be allowed to use my equipment as of next week, however I encourage everyone to have their own gear inside a gear bag (gear bags ensure more space on the side of the pool) If you need a mesh bag, I have some so please ask. No sharing of gear at all during the training session. I think that’s everything See you there!

21.01.2022 With the sprints coming to a close I am proud to say all our swimmers swam tremendously! Holly battled some extreme nerves in her races yesterday and swam super close to her pbs, which is a great effort seeing as she missed 3 weeks of training over Christmas. Our awesome assistant coach Lachlan Wright swam today, representing the Kilmore Swimming club. He smashed out 4:4 pbs!! Which is huge considering I know how much he’s been training ... Well done to all our swimmers, and lachie, for doing so well this weekend. See you all tomorrow #swimming #seymoursharks #gosharks

20.01.2022 Gold squad training indoor tomorrow so we can do some dive sprints. 5pm dryland See you there

19.01.2022 Good evening sharks!! What a great day it is today!!! Today we got the nod to get back in the pool starting Monday as a club. As it stands there is still a limit of 20 people in at any time. So if you want to train Monday, I’d book in now. Whoever books in I will have a program for them. However with the 20 person limit we will not fit everyone in, so I’m sorry to those that miss out. ... Should Dan Andrew’s increase the limit to 50, this will not be an issue. But booking space will still be required through the council booking link. You MUST book in advance if you wish to train. If you cannot make training but you have booked, you must cancel your bookings. Training will be Monday and Wednesday for all squads for this coming week. This may change going forwards but I just want to get us into the water. At the moment we can’t start until later either of those days, there is a possibility of us starting earlier on a Thursday. If this is the case, it will change to mondays and thursdays for all squads and Wednesday for gold only. But that’s not confirmed just yet. There is no morning training next week. Start time for Monday and Wednesday will be 6:30 and finish time will be 7:30 No dryland next week but this will change 1 parent per family No recreational swimming for those kids of the family who are not with the club Masks to be worn at all times unless in the water, we have been advised by staff that the paper ones are a lot easier for around pool deck with the warmer air. Seats are not to be moved. The centre has placed seating around and you are not allowed to move the chairs. Please use the booking system and pay at reception. $7 per swim to be payed to the club but electronic transfer. Please no cash. This amount will change in the future, but it’s a starting point to get us in the pool. For next week, I will not have gear available so you must bring your own training gear. This will change in the future. Please bring drink bottles Once the outdoor pool opens, we will be utilising the space as much as we can as there is no time or number limits with an outdoor pool. If you have been training at Kilmore, unfortunately you will have to stay at Kilmore until I find out if you can change to seymour. However, once training at seymour, you won’t be able to swim at Kilmore, for now. At this stage, we just have to take each day as it comes. John, our new president, will be contacting EVERYONE in the next day or so to gauge an interest for who wants to return for the remainder of the season. Please answer if a random number calls We thank you for your patience and understanding. We are just so very glad to be able to get back into the water so a huge thank you to the team at the centre for helping this happen.
